Nice quality, fun learning game for little kids!
My five homeschooled kids from 3-12 have had fun playing this game together. I bought it as a supplement for a unit on nutrition and it has turned into a family favorite. Our 3yo loves it the most, and he begs everyone to play with him. The food pieces are color-coded on the back, so it's perfect for pre-readers. Some of the food choices in the game are processed or made with white flour, but that's consistent with other MyPlate materials. I teach my kids that unprocessed versions and whole grains are best, but that's up to each family's individual preference. It's still a really fun game that's easy for all ages and a great visual way to teach kids to make good choices of what to put on their plate. I'm considering buying the real plates that match the game for their lunches. The pieces are nice quality heavy cardboard, although the spinner pops off easily, so we have to be careful not to lose it. Overall, this game is a winner for little kids.

We love this game!
The game itself is fun to play and the materials are durable and smooth. We love that we can even fo other educational activities with the food cards because of their good quality photos. This has become a favorite tool to help learn about healthy eating and practicing turn taking. Love it!

Fun learning game
Got this as an added fun bonus for our my plate classroom theme. The kids love playing it. There are a variety of food items. Great learning tool! Super fun and very easy for the children to play without a lot of guidance! Love it! Definitely recommend.

Fun game for the family
Fun game for the whole family! Yoing kids can learn food groups. Wish there were a few more food options. (No tomatoes, and I see why that could be confusing to categorize as a fruit or veg).

Don’t buy this item unless you like mold!
I’m glad I only had one use for this game, which was a 30 minute lesson combining science and nutrition. Otherwise, I can’t recommend buying it at all. I bought two boxes and both of them had mold on the insides of the boxes. There must be humidity or moisture issues in the warehouse where they are storing these. I would’ve taken a picture but I am extremely hesitant of any mold or mildew as anyone should be. If you plan on buying it, get ready to disinfect and sanitize to all hell.

Box was sealed when delivered but was horrified to find MOLD inside the box when we opened it. How disappointing not to mention dangerous for children!
