I have been using it for the last 5 weeks for melasma but no difference noticed.

This product is non-irritating (for me), which is good. The main ingredient, tranexamic acid, needs more studies to make it effective as a topical hyperpigmentation correcting ingredient. It's more of a C player right now. It's better studied and proven when ingested in pill form. Niacinamide is more proven, but even that's more of a B player. Kojic acid and arbutin, I would consider B players as well. So, this serum would be good as an addition to an already complete hyperpigmentation routine. This is something you would use in the morning (with sunscreen), while you use something more effective at night. Or, it would be good alone if you didn't have many dark spots in the first place. However, there are other products that incorporate these ingredients and MORE to give you the best results. One would be Remedy for Dark Spots by Dr. Muneeb Shah, which has retinol and mandelic acid (A ingredients), as well as tranexamic acid, niacinamide, kojic acid, and MORE. In fact, it has 9 super-stacked ingredients for dark spots, coming to about $38, which is pretty cheap for what it does. The remedy serum would be good at night, in conjunction with the Anai Rui serum in the morning. However, if you don't want an overly complex routine, the Remedy serum is a better bet. Overall, it's a good product; well formulated. I probably won't repurchase it because I am more into the Dr. Idriss hyperpigmentation serum for my morning routine right now. But, both are on similar levels in terms of ingredient lists. I would say it was somewhat of a coin-toss decision, but the Dr. Idriss serum has an amazing texture that gives a lovely glow, so it won me over. It's way more expensive though ($68). So, this is a good, cheap(er), B-player morning serum for hyperpigmentation. Would recommend!

ANAI RUI is one of those Korean skincare brands I love and this 10% tranexamic acid serum has earned a spot in my regular rotation. I use it when I want to keep that glass-skin glow going while also staying on top of stubborn hyperpigmentation. With the combo of tranexamic acid, niacinamide, kojic acid, arbutin, and ceramides, it feels like a well-rounded formula that supports both brightness and a healthy-looking skin barrier. It has been very effective in improving hyperpigmentation not only on my face but also on the other parts of my body. The texture is light, spreads easily, and layers well under moisturizer and sunscreen. It isn’t sticky, greasy, or heavy, which matters to me because I’m consistent only when a product feels comfortable. Over time, my skin looks more radiant and even, and my dark spots stay more controlled. Price-wise, this is the kind of affordable product that performs like a much more expensive option. If you’re building a brightening routine without blowing your budget, this one is worth trying.

I’ve been using the ANAI RUI 5% Tranexamic Acid Serum for over a month now, and I really like it. I’ve noticed a visible reduction in dark spots and my skin tone looks more even and brighter. The serum feels lightweight and silky, and it doesn’t dry out or flake my skin like some other products. It’s also moisturizing and easy to incorporate into my daily skincare routine, and I feel it’s a good value for the price. Pros: Noticeable reduction in dark spots and hyperpigmentation Lightweight, silky texture Moisturizing without dryness or flaking Easy to use and fits well into any routine Good value for money Cons: Results may take a few weeks to appear Some may need to patch test (active ingredients) Overall, I’m really happy with this serum and plan to keep using it for continued improvement.
