Really nice binding tape. Tough, but soft and flexible!
I know that sounds really strange, but this binding tape is very strong, but also soft and flexible. I really enjoyed using it as a casing for a stick behind a flag that will hang over my garage. (I know it's hot-melt binding, but I stitched it and it worked perfectly.) I'm very impressed with this tape and highly recommend it for heavy-duty jobs.

Easy to work with
I was looking for something strong enough to repair a sail bag, a bimini and/or other worn pieces on a yacht. This binds with heat to the existing fabric and appears to be quite strong. I did test it under running water and it does absorb the water, but doesn't soak thru the glue, which is good. I will still sew the pieces down to make sure they stay in place. I'm hopeful this is a product I can use for future repairs. I wish is came in other colors!

great find
super tacky and easy to use... soft, thin, pliable and the glue binds well. This works for a variety of projects, and although this is not my favorite color, it was good enough to fix a back door rug that had frayed so I'm happy

Very useful and works exactly as advertised!
This webbing is a very good quality and the hotmelt works better than I expected. I needed to combine 24 felt panels together and wanted the option to also sew them if I needed additional strength. This webbing allowed me to easily trim and run over with an iron set to "cotton" for a few passes and adhered well. Take your time and move along slowly. The adhesive does slightly overlap the webbing, so you will get some glue on your iron. I simply cleaned it off with isopropyl after it cooled.I actually ran out of webbing and finished the last two strips with extra strong duct tape and it did not adhere or work nearly as well as this product. I highly recommend this stuff, it has so many practical uses in sewing, hobby work and general crafting or manufacture.

Works Great To Hide The Fringe On A Runner!
I actually ordered this adhesive binding tape from FUNORNAM to bind the ends of a carpet runner to hide the fringe. It worked perfectly for that as I turned the fringe "under," and then placed the binding tape on the top-side/edge of my runner with about a 1" overhang that I made a hem of, folded it over and then brought each end "around" to the back where it is now, effectively, holding the fringe down. At this point, I used the adhesive on the tape to hold the two "ends" of the binding tape together (in back) where I then could hand-sew the binding to my rug, leaving the fringe intact, should I ever want the fringe to "show" again (doubtful!). Five Stars! (Ps. Yes, it was time-consuming and, yes, my hand hurt when I was finished . . . BUT, it was worth it!)

Nice and thick
Not a fan of the color but it works fine. Nice feel to it. Make sure to get some extra for overlap.

Flexible, lightweight but strong and soft
I have several other twill tapes in my stash, and I like this one a lot. It has a thinner profile than the others in my stash, and is much more flexible and soft. I'm in the process of repairing several area rugs that have had a rough life -- apparently they were laid on top of a floor that had a few missed drops of cleaning chemicals that burned holes in the backing (but not the front, hooray!) so I've washed them thoroughly to get rid of the chemicals and am replacing the backing and twill edging. This twill tape feels soft but strong, and feels like 100% cotton. It's stable in the perpendicular (along the length or across the width) and is flexible on the diagonal, about 30 degrees. Having felt this twill tape, I'm going to use some of it to repair a soft flexible rug and the rest of it on stabilizing some large embroidery projects after blocking -- the low profile of this twill tape will make it easier to frame/hang them. There's plenty of yardage for me to play with! I think it would work well with clothing or other items that need to flex a bit, rather than being rigid like a rug.I'm very happy with this twill tape. It's thinner and more flexible on curves than the other twill tape I have, so good for a wider range of projects than just rugs. It's a bit unusual, and I recommend it.
