Entire series of the television spin-off from Guy Ritchie's Brit hit gangster flick. In 'Lock, Stock and 200 Smoking Kalisnikovs', the gang lose out when they invest in the 'Limehouse Lag' scam, while gangster Miami Vice takes on a consignment of rifles. 'Lock, Stock and a Fist Full of Jack and Jills' sees the lads in trouble with hard man Larry Harmless after selling dodgy viagra pills round the manor. In 'Lock, Stock and Spaghetti Sauce', Spaghetti Eddie is treading on rival porn king Miami Vice's turf in order to fill the cast of his TV channel 'Sauce TV'. Meanwhile, the lads are forced to make a risqué film of their own after getting into debt with local porn merchant 'Deep Throat'. In 'Lock, Stock and Two Sips', the lads play reluctant hosts to a crazed hit-man, who has taken it upon himself to bump off Miami's entourage. In 'Lock, Stock and One Big Bullock', the lads find themselves involved with crazed gangsters and the Russian Mafia after going into the meat industry. 'Lock, Stock and a Good Slopping Out' sees them banged up when Miami Vice charges them with retrieving a valuable key from prison inmate 'Toothless'. Review: Takes me back........ - What a great series...... very funny. I had forgotten just how entertaining the TV series was. Delivery was quick, no problem with DVD. Looking forward to watching the 2 disk set over and over again.... Review: Cracking Entertainment - Remove "Lock, Stock...." the Movie from your mind and enjoy this on it's own merits. It uses the same basic theme of blokes getting into trouble while trying to make a fast buck, intertwined plots, humour & violence that served Mr Ritchie well at the box office but with an original cast. This is a feature length intro episode and 6 hour(ish) long TV episodes. The plots are a bit weak in the last 2 episodes but the feature length episode is a cracker, closely followed by the first 2 episodes. As with the Big Screen version, the music is as much of a main feature, complementing the action perfectly. Well worth the money.

A HIGH BODY COUNT
The complete 2000 C4 series inspired by the hit film. Four cockney chancers seem out of their depth amidst murderous villains. Somehow, entertainingly, they always survive to see another day (though, alas, not a second season). Top of the local food chain is Miami Vice (Ralph Brown suitably chilling). All "our heroes" make impact, of them Scott Maslen now the best known - he destined to enhance "The Bill", "EastEnders" and the dance floor. Also making their presence felt are Nick Brimble, Hywel Bennett, Martin Freeman, Bradley Walsh and a host of other familiar faces as characters best avoided. Seven episodes, the first feature length, all involving frenetic mayhem and inventive carnage. Challenging viewing for those not knowing what to expect, but a treat for those with strong stomachs who like their comedy very dark.

From big screen to small screen
The tales from Guy Ritchies take on Londons mean streets continue in this tv adaptation of the hugely popular movies Lock, Stock & 2 Smoking Barrels and Snatch. Stealing horses, robbing russians, ripping of a psychotic arab called the caliph, annexing tv stations, selling dodgy viagra and generally making a nuisance of themselves the boys from the Lock go from entrepeneurs to prisoners and back again through the series narowly avoiding being either killed, buggered or brutalised in a variety of different ways. A very entertaining series of far fetched tales that can withstand repeat viewings. Excellent.
