Different product than advertised
I've used the Bayer long lasting Ground Clear in late spring for several years now to clear those unsightly small "grass like" weeds which develop between the bricks of our block paved drive , patio and paths. A once a year application via watering can with bar sprinkler did the trick. This year when I ordered a different product arrived, Bayer super strength weed killer. It's cheaper but I've found that when I've applied it you need more sachets as the dilution is only 4 litres per sachet rather than 5. As it takes several weeks to do it's job I am unable to comment on its effectiveness. The rating I've given above, 4 stars, is for the product shown in the picture. Excellent service by the seller. When I emailed to advise that wrong sachets received I got a speedy reply to confirm that the old product is discontinued and when I advised that the new product was cheaper a refund of the overpayments was made.

Struggles to dissolve in cold weather - i prefer the sachets
I've purchased this twice (the second time by accident). I find that the product doesn't dissolve very well. It seems to get worse with cold weather. Because the granules dont dissolve, they block up the holes in the watering can hose, which is a nightmare.In the recent cold snap I had to use warm water and a lot of stirring to get the product close to dissolving. I also happened to have a similar product that came in sachets (rather than these dissolvable plastic bag thingys) and this dissolved much better.

This actually works for months!
This is one of the world's most effective weed killer for the whole summer and beyond.I was devastated when I realised that high street shops like homebase, wickes and B&Q are not stocking them anymore because of the new EU law. But i was ecstatic when I saw it at Amazon!I put it round the back and front garden in spring and do not see a single weed until the following year! One of the best and effective weed killer ever!

Very disappointed to find only 6 packets in the pack
Very disappointed to find only 6 packets in the pack, the confusion may be caused by the pack advising that the weight of the individual treatment is 12 mgs.

Killed of some
Unfortunately the old weedkillers that did the job properly are no longer available, and like other alternatives, this did the job for a bit and then they weeds are back.

Don't BUY !
Waste of money as does not work. Used double the recommended dosage and it had no effect, if anything the weeds got bigger! Complete waste of money.

easy to use sachets put in water and dissolve put double dose in by mistake still taken well over a week to kill weeds treated again to make sure as weeds were still alive
