Although it's a refurbished one, it came with the factory sealed box. Looks like new, mint condition, no scratches neither any other cosmetic damages. Works as intended, I'm very satisfied. I'm using mostly for watching movies/TV shows on the huge virtual screen, usually converting the content before to 3D to enhance the immersion. This is my very first VR headset and experience, it worth every penny.

I've owned an Oculus rift CV2, Quest 2, and now the Quest 3. I bought this to get the best wireless, consumer grade, game and experience orientated VR headset on the market and I would say it delivers. I personally never have any issues wearing VR headsets, such as motion sickness or fatigue and still have no issues with this. The display is crisp, adjustable, and relatively seamless. The display inside isn't so large that anywhere my eyes land, I see screen, but if you're looking forward for the most part it's pretty immersive still. The controllers are easy to hold, easy to use, and just like all the other generations, feel relatively intuitive in virtual reality. Meta did away with the tracker rings on the controllers, which I thought were actually to protect hands from hitting objects, but apparently not. Regardless, they are smaller. I pretty much have no complaints. The pass-through camera which is now way higher resolution and full color, allows for pretty easy augmented reality experiences and real world navigation without lifting up the headset. Most VR games aren't too large in size so 512 gigs is ample storage for even a hardcore VR collector. I don't really have any complaints about fit and comfort. I don't wear glasses and I am appropriate head size for somebody 5'6". Like many things, battery always is more to be desired. I'll say it's perfectly fine, but for any longer sessions, you may run into a dying headset. With the right cable or aftermarket wearable battery, this isn't a problem. There are certainly trade-offs I'm sure Meta considered when choosing battery size and it's fine. I definitely don't regret buying this and Hope VR technology comes far enough that more people can enjoy its experiences without motion sickness and whatnot.

I bought this “Renewed” from the Amazon store to save $50, which, as we all know, can sometimes be a crapshoot when it comes to electronic devices. That being said, I LOVE it. I’ve had it about 3 months now, and it works incredibly well. I had been eyeballing larger TVs because I’m a gamer (Xbox) and I wanted something bigger than my 55” TV that I currently have. There’s no need now with this headset. I can connect to either cloud gaming through Xbox (must have their ultimate or premium game pass subscription) or I can directly stream from my Xbox if I’m near it. It sometimes get lag spikes using these methods, but not enough to bother me, and I get to play games on a massive screen now. They also have amazing apps to watch movies (like Bigscreen) that I’ve used to watch my Sunday Ticket on a movie theater sized screen. I can update this review after I’ve had it longer to report on the durability, but I’ve used the heck out of it these first three months and no problems whatsoever. I’m a teacher, so I might even incorporate some kind of VR activities for individual students. This thing is amazing. I’ve never tried the Meta Quest competitors, but I’m extremely happy with this purchase!!! Maybe one of the only negatives is that the battery life is kind of short, but I typically use it on my family room couch that has a middle compartment plug in, so I’m right next to a power source. If you would use this away from a power source, there are options for headbands with hot swap batteries or longer power cords than the one provided, which isn’t very long. Resolution is great. My TV is actually kinda old and is an LCD instead of an LED, so the Meta Quest picture is probably better than my TV. The VR apps and games are pretty fun too, and they’re a nice change from typical 2D gaming. Paramount+ doesn’t seem to work with the browser though, which kind of sucks, but every other one seems to work fine. I have Apple TV+, Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime TV, and NFL Sunday Ticket through YouTube, and all those work VERY well. Set up was easy too and very intuitive. I did buy a new strap for it because the one provided isn’t very comfortable overall, but I got a comfortable one fairly reasonably priced (like $30). Overall, I would absolutely recommend this to anyone interested in VR and I would absolutely buy it again.
