Fantastic improvement!
Amazing product! I was tempted by the cheaper options, but so glad I went with the Kicker. Everything about it screams quality, and even customer service was great. I called to ask a question before installing, and the guy was responsive and knowledgeable. Installation was a breeze (I installed it under the front seat on my golf cart) and the sound in incredible. I wasn’t going to bother with the remote bass control, but I’m glad I did as some tracks require the boost. I decided to mount the unit on a ½” thick MDF board to act as a baffle, and it further improved the sound. If you decide to do the same, I recommend a little padded tape on the back of the unit as the center Allen bolt protrudes by about a 1/16” which impairs good seating. Overall, I can’t recommend this enough.

Complete your music's range.
I have installed one of these in my 2016 Jeep Unlimited Sport, 2022 RAM 1500 Laramie, and 2025 Jeep Gladiator High Tide. I did a YouTube video of the installed and proper adjustment on the 2022 RAM 1500 Laramie. It is more than just adding base to a high quality factor should system. It completes the range on highs and lows withing each piece of music. Music sounds completely different because factor systems never play the range that artists actually record in. A live concert has a sound system to experience a full range of frequencies that a vehicle sound system never completes. I highly recommend the Kicker 51HS10. So awesome.

Excellent
A ridiculous amount of power and bass for the very compact size. Speaker level inputs work ok if that’s all you have, but distorts on low bass. However, by using a KISL rca adapter for sub line level inputs, it’s genuinely excellent base with a pioneer head unit. Highly recommended.

Great sound, without being obnoxious
Installed in my 2020 mustang convertible. Install is rather straight forward if you know electrical basics and it sounds great. The only thing that I recommend (that doesn’t come with the package) is some pozzi taps to tap into the rear speaker wires (5 bucks at your local hardware store). It sounds great if you’re just looking to beef the sound up a little, but it’s not obnoxiously loud.

Robust, but wiring and sound output can be a bit lacking
This subwoofer feels heavy and feels quality. Don't get this if you want your doors to rattle off, but it is a compact sub that you can fairly easily fit into the cracks and crevices of your car without sacrificing significant space. It definitely added depth to my sound, especially with my factory sub dying. Tuning this can be difficult, as you don't have a way to probe the signal that the amplifier puts out, and I have to turn the gain up a bit more at my normal listening volumes to get an output that makes a difference. The other issue I had with this was while the power wire and speaker wires were substantial, the remote turn on wire is way too short to work even in a small car without extending it, and the ground wire can be a bit short, but I understand it is electrically better to have the shortest ground wire possible. Finally, I wish this had RCA jacks on it, as radios tend to have an RCA output for the subwoofer signal, and I have to buy more expensive RCA to bare wire connectors to wire these into my system instead of just using a regular RCA cable. Overall, I am pleased with this, and if you have a willingness to do some additional wiring work, it's a great sub.

2024 Tundra hybrid with jbl system
Pleasantly surprised, installed in my 2024 Tundra hybrid with jbl system. Will not rattle the panels or tickle the ear drums but it gives just the right amount of bass for something so small. You will need lc2i pro from Tacotunes to tie into factory jbl system

Excellent subwoofer
This subwoofer is great bang for your buck. Works excellent in a rear underseat pickup truck.

Small but Powerful!
How do they get so much bass in such a small package?! Sure, it's not the same range as a full sized sub, but this fits anywhere, and I don't have room for a full sized. A great compact solution!

Loving the deep bass. Super conpact and fit behind the back seats of my Ford Maverick. Install was pretty easy. Very happy with it.

I was going to mount this unit, but I shoved it between the plastic behind the rear seats and lo and behold it is a perfect pressure fit. No rattling or movement from this unit for how far I'm pushing it. This sub isn't going to win any awards, but is a good pairing for stock Toyota systems which sound extremely flat and lifeless. I paired this with a Beat Sonic amplifier to boost the stock system and I am completely satisfied. Oh yeah if you aren't comfortable soldering make sure you get the Kicker speaker wire to RCA adapter if you buy this sub. I found out when I was in the middle of installing it, but I just cut the ends off my RCA and solderered the ends to the speaker inputs. Also saved me $25-30CAD.
