Good scooter but doesn’t travel easily
This is the first time I have traveled with this scooter as I just got it. I purchased it with vacation travel in mind. That being said, the pros and cons as I see them are listed below. Pros: seems sturdy and well built. Is a smooth ride on paved/smooth type surfaces. Very attractive to the eye. Responds well as far as forward and reverse. Horn is loud. Light is bright. Compact enough to go through most doors easily. Has good power. Cons: Not good in stores or shops with close spaces as it takes a rather large radius to turn so a 3 point turn is often required. There are no springs under the seat to help absorb the jarring ride if the pavement isn’t pretty smooth. The only foldable part is the steering tiller. It doesn’t disassemble so more than one person is required to lift it into and out of the vehicle used to take it anywhere and it is heavy. The instructions book says you can take the battery off which would take a good bit of the weight off when packing it but it doesn’t tell you how and it isn’t obvious on how to preform this little trick. There is NOTHING on YouTube about this particular scooter at all. The instructions are very vague. It was represented as all terrain but that is not true. There are many surfaces that if you ride it on them it will jar your teeth out with rough/ uneven pavement being one of them and as I was trying to practice on it I discovered my lawn was not a good choice either. The only way I could go somewhere like shopping or something alone would be to have a carrier that I can somehow drive it up on installed on the back of my truck which would be an added expense when I was looking for something that I could break down and load myself. The tires are not rubber, they are some kind of hard plastic though they are solid but rubber tires would go a long way toward making a much more comfortable ride on this scooter. If you have long legs or big feet you will not be comfortable on this scooter. It is perfect if you live in town with good sidewalks and you just need a little something to aid your mobility but if you want something that travels easily this one is not it.
