Trehalose has been around since the beginning of time. It is found in succulent plants, a few very rare mushrooms and brewers yeast. Use trehalose in drinks, on fruit, in smoothies, in baking, in icecream - in truth use it where ever you've used sugar before. The benefits are that you'll notice a better taste and always a less spikey effect on your blood glucose levels. Trehalose has very little if any effect on your blood glucose levels. It doesn't have a rating on the Glycemic index because its effect inside the testing time is undetectable in most cases. Highly recommended for all people including children and adults of every age.

It is less sweet than sugar so it requires more than double amount of it. It is a good option mixed with stevia to get the properties of trehalose and the sweetness of stevia
