Product: SlideServe Slim Airtight Pitcher - 2.1L (70oz)I had tried another of this company’s pitchers, and I liked it so much that I got this one. I have not been disappointed. I got this one to use with our ice tea and store it in the fridge door. It fits perfectly. It’s lightweight, which my Mom, who lives with me, likes. She isn’t worried about dropping it. It is leak proof, although I don’t usually store it laying down. I like having that option if I need it. The top is easy to open and close.The pitcher looks nice. I’m not worried about the tea staining the plastic over time. I do pour hot tea into the pitcher, but I wait until it has cooled some before I put the lid on and close it. That’s just to avoid having it form a vacuum as it cools.I usually hand wash it, although the bottom of the pitcher is dishwasher safe. You should hand wash the lid to preserve the life of the gasket. It cleans easily and I’m able to reach the bottom of the pitcher without having to use a bottle brush.

This is a well designed pitcher made of high quality materials. It fits on my refrigerator door perfectly and has a tight seal. It looks good. The plastic is very clear. I will probably buy another one for iced tea.

I really like this carafe - I took a star off though because it was a little deceiving when it said “space saving”. Here’s the deal - it is skinny and fits well in the door of my fridge, but that is the ONLY place it fits because it is so tall. In fact, there is only one door shelf it fits in at all and I have a brand new fridge. I probably should’ve paid more attention to the measurements, but they were in centimeters and I don’t think like that. In the picture, it doesn’t seem all that huge, but in real life it is fairly tall.That being said, I think it’s a really great carafe. I poured hot coffee directly into it and let it cool to room temperature before I put the lid on and put it in the fridge. But, it held up to its claims that it can stand up to heat. The way it’s shaped make it easy to handle and grip. And the lid is unique. It works very well to open easily and poor, I just have to remember to push it back when I close it so that it clicks.But, I really do like the size of it and it holds a whole pot of coffee for me. It’s perfect for my iced coffee and I’m hoping that the airtight seal will help it last longer too.So, I really like this carafe, just note that it is very tall.

So far so good with this jug! It's been a month now and we've all fallen for it!We like to make those 2-liter pitcher packs of juice, and this holds just a little more than that, so we even "save" a little using it.The ability to lock it and lay it on its side is nice, we haven't used that yet, but given our fridge situation, I won't put it past us. So far though, I've shaken and twisted it all over and it hasn't leaked any.It seems to be built tough, and the plastic feels like good quality, so I feel like it'll last a good while. For a pitcher that can be stored sideways, I feel like this is a good deal, and we're considering getting a second one. We've tried a few other pitchers but none of us have agreed as much until this one.Also, this is specific to me, but it fits right into our fridge filtered-water dispenser, so I can fill it while I'm doing other things. That on its own made it worth it!

The pitcher is nice but it tends to lock up when you try to close it. Closing is a bit awkward but no too bad over all.

Firstly, this was made in Japan and the quality speaks of the care and thought that was put into the design. I really love how tight the lid sits on the jar, and the thickness of the plastic. It's definitely a great product...However, this same jar is being sold at my local Asian food market place for $7.99. Looking online, it's definitely cheaper elsewhere... I really doubt this jar is worth the asking price of $24.99, and question the listings intentions for selling at nearly quadruple the value. For this asking price you could get three more jars or even a set! It's really angering to see sellers taking advantage of the platform to price gouge customers, hence my 1 star review.

I needed a high quality plastic pitcher to hold iced tea that I make at home that wasn't a giant gallon sized pitcher. The open/close action for the lid to pour is easy and super unique. Love that the pitcher is nicely shaped to easily fits in the fridge doorWhile it is a bit pricey, it's well worth it for the quality of the materials. Top quality plastic that's safe to pour boiling water into for steeping tea and easy to take apart to clean, made in Japan. This pitcher should last a long time of continuous use.
