The product is fine and doing good for what i payed.. The plastic pieces are ok, not the highest quality.. Only thing that bothers me is the depth gauge which is not strong and didnt fit properly but the measurements are perfect..

Pros: Good for non professional use . Better than I expected .Cons: jaws could've been of harder material. Alignment of the jaws could've been better . Slide could've been smoother.But can't expect all that in this price range . Hence 4 stars .

what's in the box : - A black plastic case for the caliper - Digital vernier caliper - a spare batteryshort review :- its cheap- its a little low quality ,- the measuring hands are a little wobbly , there is 3 mm of play in there- after a few weeks surface corrosion started to shop up on the steel parts- accuracy is not consistent but good enough for my job- the case of the caliper arrived with a little piece broken off.- its a useful measuring instrument that i can't live without , it gets the job done

- When I opened the black PVC vernier calipers box the metal body of the calipers was a very bad lot of scratches on it and the surface was faded out in may areas not smooth and the edges of the metal body were uneven, overall the quality was very bad- no user manual or paperwork has given the box- I got 2 LR44 batteries in the box, one the battery holder in the Pvc box and the other in the calipers itself- as using many days, I understood that this is just entry-level calipers with a very low quality of material used in it- when I am using the main scale or when moving the scale from left to right or right to left for the measurement sometimes are showing wrong values and when I bring the scale to zero value position still it was showing some value on the screen, very bad- when I carry to other location, I tight the lock screw a little tight so it does no move or automatically on, and thus saves the battery, when it gets a little shock moves it automatically on and battery power also consumes and at the time we need to use we can lose the lock screw and use it simply- whenever you stop using it or when kept in the box tight the lock screw and keep it in the box- the scroll wheel of the calipers was sturdy and was so smooth it easy slides but the Jaws does not move very slippery, when I measure small objects I move it a little slowly- when I left it aside or not using it, but it was On, the screen automatically goes blank after 5:47minitues- the quality of the entire product was so good- the upper and lower Jaws and mail scale I think ere made out of aluminum or short of white metal- And the depth rod, thumb screw, and lock screw, are made out of iron and we're attracted by magnets, I clean those areas often because those areas can get rust at any time and make the calipers useless- in inches, I got a max value of 6.069 to 6.0715 approx- in mm, I got the max value of 154.17 to 154.24 approx- overall this model was very average quality and a just entry-level not premium one- just ok product- you can any questions related to this product.

Material of the caliper is not stainless steel and not reliable for accuracy. I always get different readings for the same measurement. Caliper needs to be reset for each reading else you will find an error of 0.2 to 0.4 mm. For this price, one can not expect a digital caliper of stainless steel. But the product description should have mentioned about its in-accuracy.

This is good and reasonably precise and easy to use tool. What I do not like is "Auto Power On", when you move the jaws it switches on the battery power automatically (even when the power switch is Off) this is generally good no problem but NOT SO GOOD when it turns on the power automatically with small movements even if it is inside the box :-)

For the price this is a great product if you are looking at making precision mesurements. I use this extensively for woodworking at home. Product quality is good. it comes in a hard case which makes it easier to store in my messy workshop. The tips can also be used to marking the wood as they are sharp and easily leave a mark for your to maybe draw your lines or engage your cuts.
