Excellent product. Lightweight and small, without compromising too much on key size.
Just had it delivered a few hours ago. Tried it with my mobile (had to get a small OTG adaptor to get started). I also own the K480, and got this one because it has a touchpad. Comparing the two, both have unique features that I would not call positive or negative, because how one views a feature, or the lack thereof, depends on one's requirements. The plus-point of the K480 is that it connects through bluetooth, leaving the port free to charge the mobile (if you want to use it with your mobile/tab) or connect a pendrive to it. The keys are larger and better spaced out (important if typing comfort is a major priority). The K400 plus, on the other hand, requires the OTG adaptor, plus, the unifying receiver used to connect the keyboard to devices like the mobile, tab, or the LCD TV. The plus point of this feature is that connection is immediate. The minus point is that one must be careful not to lose the 'unifying receiver'. Also, if you forget the OTG connector, there is no way you can connect the keyboard to anything. The 'K400 Plus' is also lighter and slightly tinier: But comfortable enough for normal to large sized fingers to type without any obstacles. Unlike the K480, this piece has the touch pad. One main advantage of going for these keyboards ( be it the K480 and K400) is the amount of money saved...in my case, I saved 28K approx., the amount I would have to invest for getting a new laptop. And just didn't have the money to invest in one. Now, with this, I can complete most college assigments. And a couple of years later when my phone conks off, I can simply get a new smartphone for about 8-10K. If one calculates the interest accumulated, one has way more in one's hand than one thinks.

Great Product; Read about its pros and Cons and then decide; Value for Money
Logitech has not disappointed me at all. Considering the price and comparing with its competitors I found this is good choice for most of the stuffs. Let me tell its Pros and Cons so that it will easy for you to decide. Pros: 1. Lightweight and buttons are considerably good built. 2. Touch is great and you won't have any great issue with it. Usually people are afraid they might get bad touch response due to its hybrid nature, but go for it. It's great for daily use. 3. Its plug and play with all features like two finger scrolling enabled. you can of course change things using logitech options 4. It pairs with all your previous wireless devices and its wifi receiver can act as one master receiver for all of them. 5. Multimedia keys are there and touch pad has larger area than previous versions. 6. Although buttons are closer to each other, size is standard and with time you will get used to it. Cons: 1. Since its a compact keyboard, typing is slightly an issue as buttons are closer than they usually are. People with slightly bigger fingers might have issue while typing. 2. Although buttons are of fairly build, the keyboard itself is bit weakly build. The build quality could have been better. Final Verdict: For this price range, it is a good product. If you can get away with cons i mentioned, go for it. You won't be disappointed.

Compact for TV and PC
I'm using it with my home music studio. Compact and very good. Connects immediately, no driver required. Works with my Bravia 43 inch too. Wish it had a trackpoint or maybe the touchpad was in the middle so that the keyboard would be split (with keys like B, H, etc occuring on both sides).

Stopped working in 4 months
the keyboard and touch pad are good quality. However, it has stopped working within 4 months of purchase. I contacted customer support - now fingers crossed that I'll get it back in working condition after claiming the warranty. Did not expect this after spending 3500 Rs. for this keyboard.

Decent for what it is but not decent for its price
So I would probably assume most people would be using it for their smart TVs but for those who are looking to buy this because of its compact design and touchpad integration to carry with a laptop or use it on a general-purpose PC. Here are some important things to note before buying - The reason being why I bought this keyboard is to use it with my laptop since 1. it is compact as what I would wanna look for, 2. it has the mousepad integration so I wouldn't have to use my hand all the time reaching a mouse or the trackpad on my laptop itself. (My laptop keyboard broke, so I'm using this one) Now getting it in hands reveals that some things: 1. The build quality feels very cheap not certainly not of this price range 2. It doesn't have any LEDs as a sort of indicator of battery, capslock ect. Which you make like or hate, I hate. 3. The trackpad is small which is okay since it is meant to be compact but the touch is significantly worse than my laptop, especially the swipe sensitivity. 4. The swipe gesture direction is opposite to what the default one is for the windows precision enabled trackpads. 5. Last but not least, you will need some time getting used to using the backspace and other keys on the right column keys because of being it shorter than usual. I mentioned all the bad stuff about this before the good ones because that's what I think is more important for an average consumer like you. I'm not being sponsored by them so it's okay. Now, let's go on to some good stuff about this keyboard. 1. Typing on this keyboard feels better than the default laptop experience 2. Runs off of AAs, and it lasts pretty long. 3. The shortcut keys are just awesome for just about any device.

I had an older Logitech keyboard that I was using with my Raspberry Pi but I had to use a mouse with that one, plus the keys required too much pressure for a touch-typist, and so it was not very comfortable. This keyboard is much more comfortable. The keys really feel great. The keyboard does feel and look a bit cheap, but, well, it was inexpensive, and I think it looks and feels and works great for the price. No complaints. It is full-size and yet small and light, and I love the tack pad. It is great not to have to use a mouse. It works fine with Linux, but Linux is not listed under supported OS's because you would not be able to use the optional software that you are extremely unlikely to need. You would need software if you want to attach multiple Logitech devices to the same Unifying wireless dongle (and if you really need to do that, I'm pretty sure you could use a Windows machine to set it up, and then use the dongle with Linux -- at least I could do that in the past). You could also use multiple dongles, one for each item, but that wastes USB ports. I like Logitech's super-simple plug-and-play Unifying wireless setup, but it is not Bluetooth that you could use with most tablets or phones, so keep that in mind if you are considering this. You need the tiny USB dongle that comes with the keyboard. Think of it as being a USB keyboard minus the wire. The battery lasts a super, super long time (it will probably age and go bad rather than being consumed from usage -- you'll have to remember to swap it out after a year or so). The keyboard has an easy on-off button and that also helps the battery last a long time. Great item.

Very useful keyboard for a media centre PC. Very handy having both the keyboard and trackpad in one unit rather than trying to find a surface to use a mouse on. Keyboard is good to type on. The unit as a whole feels solid but the plastic it is made out of seem quite cheap - which the product definitely was not! So the prices Logitech charge are a bit high but its the only media centre keyboard on the market so you just have to deal with it.

Very important detail. You would expect the dongle to be in the battery compartment, but it is actually on a flap on the box. Seller was very polite and helpful when I enquired about it. On an unrelated note, this keyboard works with the Logitech Options software, but Logitech Options, the program to configure the keyboard does not seem to work with Window 11. Just something to be aware of. The keyboard and trackpad will still work, only there won't be a way to reverse two finger scrolling direction. That is a Logitech issue.

The logitech K400 is my go to when I need a quick keyboard to use with a TV or any non computer application. I own 2 and bought 3 for the conference rooms at work. Battery life is great, light weight, has a track pad, good quality, and inexpensive. I've generally had good experiences with Logitech products and this is no exception.
