Very elegant ereader
Android 12 is enough to give this ereader a wide range of abilities on top of reading books with colour. It is a very slim device. To get the best from reading you will need to tweak the settings but then it works well.

Good concept but screen quality lacking, text not crisp.
I bought this as liked the idea of a colour e ink device in a similar format to the Kindle Oasis and being able to load apps onto it through the Google Play store. I ended up returning it as I found the quality of the screen to be lacking. It was good for reading comics but ghosting was an issue, I mapped a long button press to the screen refresh and was having to refresh 3 times every page turn to get a clean image. When using the ebook reader for text only I found the text to be far too soft and dim. I think this is the nature of colour screen having multiple layers and just lacked the crispness I was used to from previously owning the Kindle Oasis. Any colour on the screen increases the refresh time and I wish there was a way to turn off the colour layer completely to speed things up and get a crisper image. I experimented with apps to limit the colour as there was no built in way to do this but it seems the screen often uses the colour layer to render black and white. It you view and black and white image tones of blue and green seem to come into it. In a nutshell I like the concept but I didn't really enjoy using it for reading due to the screen quality. I am going to get a Boox Tablet Go 10.3 instead as that looks much crisper and would rather have crisp monochrome than colour. Also I did find the screen size a little limited and even reading comics on guided mode I had to keep swapping screen orientation. I would have liked to compare mine to another one as the screen almost seemed defective with the amount of ghosting at times, mine was an Amazon Warehouse deal and also had a dead pixel so was one that others had returned.

Faulty
I'm very disappointed. The Boox connected to my router, but wouldn't access anything on the Internet. I bought this from Amazon Warehouse as 'as new'. So the problem could be with the unit prior to my purchase. I'm not going to bother with warehouse deals again if they aren't checking them properly.

I returned this item, I found it too slow compared to my kindle 12 and for a color device I prefer the kobo color

I have the boox page and now the go color 7, both are very versatile ereaders with multiple reading apps and an unlimited google play store. Reading is so enjoyable! Front light really helps in color 7. Seller sent it fast too, I got it within 2 to 3 days. Seller was responsive to all my queries.

لست من يعتاد وضع تقييمات ولكن هذا الجهاز دفعني وبشده لأضع تقييم عنه. في البدايه الجهاز خفيف وفي نفس الوقت يصمد بدون شحن أكثر من أسبوعين في استخدامي اليومي لمدة ساعتين. الجهاز يحتوي ع نظام اندرويد سهل في التعامل ولا توجد اي مشاكل في النظام، ويمكنني إرسال الكتب للجهاز بسرعه وبضغطه واحده من خلال عدة طرق. الجهاز يأتي معه غلاف مجاني للجهاز ط نوعيته ممتازه. وبالنسبة لي أفضل من جهاز كندل الذي أملكه لم اتندم ع شراء الجهاز بل اراه افضل استثمار قمت به في الفتره الاخيره

Really happy with this. After owning 7 ereaders, I’ve come to decide that BOOX are just the pinnacle Ereader. I love that i can have my kindle on it, along with every other reading app! I’m not just stuck with kindle only.

Je ne m'attendais pas à un produit aussi bien pratique et bien fichu ! Android, permet d'installer des app via le vrai PlayStore, utiliser le Wifi & navigateur web. La qualité de l'image est paramétrable en fonction des besoins ; idem pour la taille des interfaces (en dpi). L'écran couleur dispos d'un rétroéclairage avec choix de la colorimétrie (adaptable entre blanc / bleu / orange) et surtout : il est lisse (non structuré / granuleux , et sans reflet !). L'autonomie est similaire aux kindle & kobo pour cette taille. Après avoir eut sur 10 ans, d'autres liseuses / écran en eink, vraiment très satisfait de celle ci.

las lecturas quedan enriquecidas cuando el libro lleva títulos o figurar en color. Es cierto que el fondo de pantalla es más gris que blanco, pero eso se corrige bastante con una buena iluminación ambiental o del propio aparato, y contribuye, junto a la suavidad de los colores, a la sensación de relaxen la lectura. La respuesta táctil es muy rápida, y la compatibilidad con las aplicaciones de Android es muy buena.
