Firstly, there's a very big difference between ordinary charcoal and activated charcoal. These bags contain activated charcoal. Got this to make the air feel fresh. It definitely works when used correctly!! Make sure that you: 1. Hang it in a place where the air has a chance to pass through the activated charcoal bag. Don't expect to keep it in a tightly enclosed space and expect it to work. 2. Get sufficient quantity. If the room is small but there are many windows which allows new and odored air to come in, then you need more quantity of activated charcoal. 3. Make sure you dry it outside in bright sunlight every 3-4 weeks. Eventually, it will have to be replaced after 1-1.5 years. If you use the right quantity and place the bags at the right location, you will be surprised by how "fresh" the air gets. It's not just a deodorant it makes the air feel new and fresh.

Using it for my car. Worked great for a few months. Looks nice with the jute packaging. Easy to be put in one of the cup holders. Removed odour from the car completely. You have to put it in the direct sunlight once every month for it to work properly. But for past few weeks it is smelling mouldy, making my car smell mouldy too, how much ever I put it in the sunlight, it ain't functioning as before. Ultimately making me use my older car air freshener. Not very happy after a few months usage. 😔

It's amazingly effective product with below pro con etc Pro 1. Immediately works with no power, no effort 2. Looks good (like a small luxurious pillow) 3. Instantly makes the CAR odour free 4. No artificial fragrance like his room freshers (i hate those sprays etc) 5. Lasts pretty long (> 2 months now and still working just as new) Cons 1. As I don't get direct sun light in my balcony it takes some effort to reactivate (I keep the bag in my neighbours balcony) 2. There is no indicator to check improvement in air quality or amount of impurities absorbed by activated charcoal (like how they show in electric air purifiers) Overall a good buy at reasonable price

Its Waste of Money. No Use at all. I request all to Never Buy. Non effective

The product is worth it. I just started using this from the beginning of this month in my car. My car interiors used to smell (stink). I kept the Medium size pouch of Dr. Charcoal on the coat hanger in the rear seat (right side). The smell disappeared after 3-4 hours and so far, it is doing its work perfectly. On the package, it was mentioned that once in a month, the bag should be kept in direct sunlight for one hour to reactivate the Charcoal. On a side note, I had bought the "Medium" Size. It is quite big at approximately 10cms by 7cms. Thumbs up to the Dr. Charcoal team for making this product. Note: Don't expect your cold and asthma to be treated by just using this. *UPDATE:* The maximum time you can go between reactivating the activated Charcoal is about 45 days, after which its effect is markedly reduced and it takes about 15-20 minutes to absorb the bad odours. (On an average it used to only take 5 minutes to remove any bad odours) *UPDATE2:* I bought another medium size bag of Dr. Charcoal for the kitchen. No odour which is produced due to cooking with spices, etc are transferred out of the kitchen, and usually the kitchen is smell-free within 5 minutes of cooking.
