Great Watch and Upgrade - you will not miss your Fossil Gen 6, or any other
This is a fantastic watch. I've been a long-time Fossil smartwatch user. My Fossil Gen 6 watch started acting up, and I recently learned that Fossil has exited smartwatches. Once I switched to the Pixel 3, I was thrilled and do not miss my Gen 6 at all. I should have switched sooner. My 2nd Fossil replacement alternative was the OnePlus 2. The Pixel looked better (to me) and has Wear OS 5 which is the most recent version. It was hard to decide between the two using online descriptions and reviews, but I am happy with my choice. The Pixel battery life is better than the Fossil, even with the always on display, and easily gets me though the day. The charge may not last as long as the OnePlus 2, but I do not wear it overnight and instead put the watch on the charger, so the extra battery life is not an issue for me. Others may see this differently. The Pixel 3 screen is MUCH brighter and sharper than the Fossil, the processor is faster, and the watch operation is intuitive and easy to learn. Activating the watch, setting it up, and switching from the Fossil was quick and easy since most of the apps and info are tied to my Google account. Long-time irritants with the Fossil were how the end of the watch band kept flopping loose from its holder band, and how the crown button constantly activated when I sharply bent my wrist. The Pixel fixes both of these issues. The Pixel watch band is a bit tricky to attach at first (YouTube helps), but it works MUCH better than the Fossil and is more comfortable. The Pixel has a nice feature where you can rotate the watch display 180 degrees (make it upside down) so you can wear the crown button on the left side of the watch. No more accidental app activations, restarts, or 911 calls! My primary watch use is for business to monitor emails and texts, and to see/screen/take phone calls. All these work beautifully, and are handled much better than with the Fossil. Even the weather app is upgraded in the new OS, and there is a timer that can be added to the tiles. I use my watch secondarily for the health features, and I was sad (at first) to learn Google Fit would not be on the Pixel. I used Fit on the Fossil to track steps and distance walked. The new FitBit basic version is a true upgrade and gives me all the info I had before, plus a lot more. I did not opt for the free Premium FitBit trial. I bought and recommend a set of the plastic watch covers for scratch and impact protection, and a charging stand. Both work great.

I'm addicted! Great looking watch and I haven't had any issues with it whatsoever. Love that it automatically thorns on your sleep tracking, love the AI integration, it's sleek and just the right size for my small wrist, band feels nice - just buy it!

Many Options
I’ve been really impressed with the Google Pixel Watch 3. It offers such a wide variety of features that make it both practical and easy to use. The heart rate monitor is accurate and helpful for keeping an eye on daily health, and the sleep tracker gives clear, useful insights without being overwhelming. One of my favorite features is the quick start exercise tracker—it makes it so easy to jump right into a workout without scrolling through menus. Overall, the Pixel Watch 3 combines convenience, great health tracking, and a clean design, making it a fantastic everyday smartwatch.

Pixel Watch 3 is a Pretty Decent Watch
I like this watch however it is not without fault. It's very stylish so I like it for that reason. It's clear and keeps accurate time, but that's only secondary to what it's designed for. Honestly, I'm not sure how to gauge accuracy on some aspects, but in terms of my heart rate, I think it's pretty good. Some other features, not so much. There is a stress and mindfulness feature that allows you to record your stress levels. It tells me that it's detected a potential change in my emotional state when I have no idea why. Then when I'm happy or mad, I get no notification. It's a little large, but I also have a small wrist. I think all these watches are too expensive, but the price is at least competitive. I like all the features like the ability to answer the phone thru it and controlling your music thru it. I have a Pixel phone, so they work hand in hand with each other. If I think of anything else, I'll be certain to add it.

Great watch! I didn't know what I was missing.
I love this watch! I've been using a Pixel phone for a couple of years and always paired it with an off-brand inexpensive "smart watch". After all, I pretty much just used it to track my steps and heart rate. I didn't realize how much I had been missing. I love seeing my messages, alerts, and even my doorbell camera video on this watch. The clarity and quality are very good. I even carried on a phone conversation using it the other day when I didn't have my phone near me. The caller said that she wouldn't have known that I wasn't using my phone. I couldn't be happier (unless they made one whose battery could last a week...lol).

A pretty good smartwatch with fitness tracking capabilities. Not solely a fitness watch, but a good middle ground for someone who wants the functionalities of both smart watches and fitness tracking. The battery drains quickly compared to a fitness watch (lasts about 2 days), but it charges very quickly to full (easy to do while showering) so I've never had it die on me. I make my own watch faces to use to suit my own interests, but there are a lot of faces to download from the store or watch app that provide a lot of information at a glance. The wear OS is different from previous watches and a lot of the watch face makers are incompatible. Overall I've really been enjoying this watch and haven't run into any major issues or complaining points so far. :)
