Less chunks and more accurate
I’m age 74 and love to golf. Prior to ordering these clubs, I looked at many videos about hitting hybrids. A couple of weeks prior to purchasing, I tried to use my Callaway 4 hybrid for long iron shots and 3 wood shots. I began to find the grove on the hybrid and my shots started flying higher and longer. I never really used the hybrid that much before but I started to get comfortable by using it more frequently. My issue with irons include chunking the ball by hitting behind, pulling whatever good shots I could make and hitting off the toe. Even the shots that I mishit with the hybrid would travel a good distance, which was much better when I mishit my irons.I placed the order and the Majestk hybrids arrived in about 5 days. I was impressed with the packaging and each club head was individually wrapped in shrink wrap and then wrapped in bubble wrap. These looked very well made and the balance felt good. The grips were soft and easy to hold. The bottom of the clubs were chromed metal, which I felt would be more durable. Cheaper clubs would be painted and scratch almost instantly. They had a slightly larger head than my Callaway and the face was a tad bit larger. I was off to the driving range two days later and hit a small bucket of balls. I couldn’t hit anything well. I shanked, drove the ball into the ground and topped just about every shot.Extremely disappointed, I came back the next day and tried another bucket of balls. Overnight, I had thought about how I was hitting the prior day’s shots. I took up the same stance and back swing but I choked up on the club about one inch. The first swing saw the ball fly into the air and went high and far. One club after the other, the shots were amazing. Even the short irons(hybrids) went way high and for a good distance. Just choking up one inch made the difference and I was very happy when I left the driving range. To be honest, I mishit about a dozen balls out of the large bucket. It was me and not the clubs.I really couldn’t feel any big difference with the senior flex but it felt the ball traveled farther with less effort. The grips were very comfortable and the clubs felt lighter than my regular irons because of the graphite shafts. The videos I watched showed that the hybrids were perfect for slower swing speeds and the club head was designed not to dig in when I hit behind the ball. The shots typically go higher and farther than my irons. The first time on the course I was able to shave 10 strokes off my last score. I hit more greens than normal with accurate ball flight. My issue now is to learn the distance for each club in the set. The maximum distance I can hit the #4 hybrid is 155 yards and a little less distance for each club in the set. I highly recommend heading out to the driving range prior to using these on the course. Once you find your grove based on your individual swing, you will come to really enjoy hitting these clubs.

easier to hit good shots
the hybred design is the best perimeter weighting and makes for the largest sweet area on the club face.they do not generate as much back spin as classical irons, but they do hit the ball higher which limit rollout.

Super impressed
25 years ago i was a solid 13 HC never putted and chipped very well but could strike the ball . Stopped playing to raise kids and put them through college . Now playing again at 60 ive realized my iron play will not come back which is not unexpected . I was super curious about the hybrid clubs but at my age i could care less about a brand name big $ clubs so i gave the Majek’s a try with low expectations .Honestly this is like cheating , I shouldn’t be hitting my 9 130 or a 3 225 but whos complaining . Super happy with the Senior Shafts which i was worried about . Super happy with the quality . Super happy with the forgiveness of not striking dead center like the old days .Here’s the thing , i went 3 through PW striking ball after ball and caught myself smiling and shaking my head knowing what i paid for this full set . Go buy em you wont be disappointed .

Surprisingly easy to hit
These clubs are terrific! They are so much easier to hit then irons- and the flight of the ball is long, high and accurate. Interestingly, the higher lofted clubs seem to be a little short (I'm 6 foot 2 ), but surprisingly, they are slightly longer than the equivalent Ping irons. As long as I keep my knees bent I make smooth, solid and consistent contact. I'm flying the PW 135 yards and knocking the other clubs 15-20 yards further than my Pings, which will stay in my garage. Also, the Majek hybrids clearly demarcate where the sweetspot is, which provides the weekend warrior with instant feedback regarding setup. For me, I did not realize I had a tendency to line up with the toe of the club rather than the center. Further, the Majek hybrids have actually improved my swing- so that when I hit a wedge iron, I hit it better. For me- these clubs were exactly what I needed! I flew the 4 wood 215 and it left a 10 foot putt for eagle! That was pretty cool. I won't tell you about the putt. These clubs will likely take at least 10 strokes off my game, maybe more. Thank you Majek!
