I like that this buckle replacement set is complete and in a neutral black color. The webbing is sturdy as are the buckles. This set would also work to make a quick belt.

Got this to add to the fanny packs that I am making with my sewing machine. There are no instructions, but I ended up using tutorial videos online. Comes with straps, which is a plus, and we ended up using a yard per fanny pack. This helped produce 6 fanny packs. The buckles hold well and are easy to add to the strap. Overall, this is a nice set for all levels of sewing, especially for under 10 dollars.

I really like the ability to make my own custom length straps, but the buckles are not great. The "teeth" that they have are not aggressive enough to really grip the webbing and they do slip when put under pressure. thats not Ideal when trying to strap stuff down tightly. I fixed this by taking a small needle file and filing the grooves down more so that the teeth stuck out more and grabbed the webbing properly. Other than that issue, everything has been working fine for me.

I have used several other kits that include webbing with buckles and this is my least favorite. The webbing is a nylon that is not woven very neatly, leading to strange bumps where the tension was not consistent. When taped onto, it likes to tear apart as some of the fibers are stuck more strongly than others. These factors gave it a rather messy finish, despite using good box stitches and other appropriate stitching methods. The buckles were fine, not excellent, and the straps felt smooth yet loose due to the faulty weave. Overall I know you can do better for the price, if you want an easier to use, more clean looking set for webbing customization.

While this is a hard plastic. These should hold up well in every day use in duffle bags and light duty back packs.This is a true black color. Will look at getting this kit again.

My 18 month old daughter got a power wheels jeep that her bigger brothers like driving her around in however there was not seatbelts to keep her in place. this kit worked perfectly to add seatbelts to the power wheels jeep. Just used a dremel tool to cut a couple slits in the plastic seat and the made a seatbelt for her. honestly looks like it came that way from powerwheels.

Unlike a recent set I ordered which only included quality strap shorteners, this set includes strong buckles, simple cord shorteners and 6 yards of strapping. If you need the more complex cord shorteners, snap hooks or longer strapping you'll have to order them separately but you'll probably have no trouble finding matching black hardware and 1" wide strapping.

This is a nice set of webbing, buckles and sliders.The rounded buckles are fairly sturdy and the webbing is strong. The webbing holds a sewing stitch well. Great set to have on hand when backpacking or camping for repairs. Also great for projects made from scratch or other sewing projects.Occasionally a buckle will break or webbing wear out. This set makes repair/replacement quick, easy and strong.Reasonably price for this set, especially if all bought separately. A good buy.
