Using this with a USB-C–only MacBook, and it’s been spot-on. The Revodok Pro 106 feels solid in hand—no cheap plastic, no loose connections. Nice build quality but the HDMI didn’t work. Tried all the troubleshooting tips out there but just a black screen on second monitor (from 2025 Macbook pro). Had 2 midi keyboard controllers plugged in which worked fine and so did the power pass through. *edit got the next model up and tried HDMI to an old tv and it worked fine and presumably would work with this as well. I don’t think it liked then HDMI to DVI connection

I wanted a small and inexpensive hub to add additional USB ports to my work laptop and one that would connect the monitor and power the laptop. This one is perfect. It has two USB A for my mouse and keyboard and two USB C ports of which I use one for my headset. It has an HDMI port for the monitor to connect to and a port to plug the laptop charger into. Now the good points. It works without being powered. That is the laptop charger does not need to be turned on for the mouse and keyboard to work or for the display to be extended to the monitor. I also am using the 65W charger that came with the laptop and it charges it fine. I don’t need to buy an additional 100W charger (I guess this could also depend on what accessories are plugged into the hub). I would definitely recommend this hub.

I did a whole bunch of testing of the various different ports with a number of different drives, including a Samsung T7 1TB SSD (up to 1,050 MB/s transfer speed), a Crucial X8 2TB SSD (up to 1,050 MB/s transfer speed), and a Samsung 500GB SATA SSD. It looks like the limiting factor in these tests was not the USB hub, as I got roughly the same speeds for the drives plugged into the Hub as I did when plugged directly into the actual USB-C port on my computer. However, I have proven that the hub supports higher transfer speeds by testing the Samsung and Crucial drives at the same time. There was a small performance loss, but not much and overall data transfer speeds were higher than I got when I tested just one drive at a time, or when testing one drive plugged into the computer's USB-C port. See the picture for details. The build quality is good, and I thought this was good value for money. I cannot comment on the charging capability, because I don't have a high powered device that will utilise the full 100W PD, but it seemed fine for lower powered laptops.

The size is perfect very lightweight and small in size, the functionality is also good, however, when used for a long period of time it seems to cut out of power for a second and then back on. This can cause problems if using on a handheld gaming device. For the price it is decent, providing plenty of ports.

Really good - low profile, pass through of usb data and power from my 100w charger with no issues. While the other ports claim no charging, you can actually still charge devices at low voltage with them. Allows me to power my laptop and portable monitor easily using just the one cable, while still having 2 USB C ports to charge my headset or connect thumb drives/dongles. My little WFH office in the kitchen is much more low profile as a result!

It’s a well built usb hub with a decent amount of ports. The braided cable for the usb c connector is very nice to have and I hope more companies start making this a standard. Specs wise it’s an absolute value for money but since I’ve only been using it for one day, I’ll update this review with time. One thing I will say you should keep in mind especially if you’re using it for MacBook to connect to an external display via the hdmi cable is that the ugreen hub and Mac don’t communicate well when using an external monitor so the colours may look very pinkish out of the box (check pics for reference). To fix this, you’ll need to go to your monitor settings and change the colour space from RGB to YUV or auto. It’ll display colours the way you expected it to. Note that this does not happen when connected to windows so it’s mostly a Mac and hub issue but not a manufacturing defect. It’s just how the hub communicates with the Mac. It’s perfectly fine for majority of the people. Also note that in order to keep your display on and MacBook’s lid closed, select your monitor as an external monitor and connect the charging cable to either your Mac directly or via the usb hub’s power delivery port. Another very good thing I noticed was that it doesn’t get hot at all when connected to an external display, charging cable and mouse and keyboard (both wired in my case). It may not seem as a big deal but in the longer run, it pays for sure. So overall it’s a great hub for the price and I do recommend it so far.

J'utilise ce hub UGREEN Revodok Pro 106 depuis environ un an et je n'ai jamais eu le moindre souci. C'est un accessoire devenu indispensable pour mon setup. Compatibilité testée : MacBook Pro M1 : Fonctionne parfaitement, reconnu instantanément. Samsung Galaxy S25 : Testé également avec mon téléphone, tout fonctionne sans problème, ce qui est super pratique pour transférer des fichiers ou brancher un écran. Points forts : HDMI et USB : Aucun souci de connexion, le signal est stable. Température : Même après une longue journée de travail, il ne chauffe pas du tout. Fiabilité : Après un an d'utilisation quotidienne, il est toujours comme neuf. Je recommande vivement si vous cherchez un hub durable et polyvalent !
