This air monitoring unit is pretty compact and provides several metrics. The display is bright and clear, and large enough for even me to see. For comparison, I have a smaller unit that only shows the temperature and humidity. I can say that both of those measurements differ from each other, but sometimes the temperature shows up to 5 degrees cooler on this device, and the humidity shows up to 5 or 6% higher than the other. I can’t really say which device is more accurate, but that is a pretty big difference.The air quality metrics are helpful to have, though there’s no explanation included with the item on what each one is. A quick search online made things very clear. I am using this in my bedroom, as I have 3 cats, 3 dogs and a bird in the house, and I worry about my husband’s allergies. I observed measurements before and after setting out my big air purifier, and could indeed see the improvement reflected in the metrics as it ran. I usually keep the windows cracked all year long, and noted some measurements flashing with very high readings while a neighbor had a fire in their yard.I found it odd for the first few days – the CO2 levels sporadically recorded as remarkably high, for seemingly no reason. The alarm sounded when this happened, including in the middle of the night, waking me up. This completely stopped after the third day.Lastly, the device comes with a USB charging cord and says the charge lasts up to 3 days. I have no idea how that could be, because brand new, the charge barely lasts me 24 hours. I really don’t want to stare at another cord on my desk, but this needs to basically stay plugged in all the time if you just want to glance at it whenever. I feel like three stars is a little generous, and I don’t think I’d recommend this particular unit to others, even though the screen is quite nice. For this price, I’d probably look for a different model.

I recently moved to an office that's next to some strong chemical orders and as I have asthma I was very worried for my well-being. Although I did purchase an air purifier this device gives me peace of mind. It works as described and the alarm does beep if it detects elevated levels.

There is no production date, no manufacturer, and no formal packaging. The battery is very poor and can only be used for one day after charging. There is not even an instruction manual!

Messing around with environments it seems to work okay. CO2 randomly sets off alarms after running the unit a while. I don’t think this is intended to be used 24/7.It has short battery life, and numbers start to greatly fluctuate in CO2 levels when they shouldn’t be. It’s compact, easy to use, and could give you a general idea of some specifications.I only question the CO2 levels right now but the other numbers make sense.

I love visual indicators (meters) that give me insight into things I can't physically see. I like companies that build quality meters and this one does a good job as an air quality meter. The alarm is a bit annoying and I haven't figured out how to set the threshold or turn off the alarm when the air quality changes for example from cooking with adequate ventilation.
