So I came to Amazon looking for this book after visiting a friends house who was recently gifted this book. This book for starters is visually striking the attention to detail with crisp sturdy pages and a beautiful material it was bound with. This book WILL hold up over time. There’s no possible way it couldn’t. I sat down and flipped through the contents. It has everything you could ever even think of that would be needed to be your own self sufficient civilization starter. Anything from pottery, glass blowing, bee keeping, wine making,natural medicines/medical basics, hunting/trapping, gathering, and building basics. This book has it ALL. I’m thoroughly impressed and also bummed I couldn’t have found first to gift to this person as it’s the PERFECT gift for a prepper.

Ordered book and cover and cards, cover came ripped from corner sent it back seller, seller sent it back to me and they barely fixed the rip and sent it back to me and I put book in cover and cover does not close no matter how I place it or adjust it. This is not a cheap book or cover.

Beautiful book, great illustrations but the info in it is Soso and definitely will not help you in survival. But it is BEAUTIFUL

I ordered the special edition with the lovely, protective cover. However, when it arrives, the side binding was loose showing a long rip along the seem, one corner was dented badly. I didn't complain as I ended up ding up the the cover on my own easily. The book is absolutely beautiful, but the special cover wasn't worth it.

The information is, well... historical. Not really anything practical for survival amidst disaster.

I am not sure what I was expecting I guess something real. The illustrations are just stupid and nothing looks like it should, if you going to use this book to survive good luck. I am going to return mine as it is not worth the money at all. If you are rebuilding society building an xray machine is going to be pretty low on your list of to-do's. Building a welder really well if you are rebuilding anything at a point of just getting started where in the world would you find the things you need to make a welding machine? Good grief there are so many other things you will need before you could even imagine building something like this, and the list could go on and on. Don't waste your money on this book
