Trigger Sheath Trigger Guard Holster Black with Paracord (G42/43/43X)

I bought this for my S&W Shield, and it fits perfectly - snaps into place and removes with a sharp jerk on the tether. I like deep concealment in summer months due to lighter clothes. I use a Techna Clip mounted to the rear of the slide for IWB retention, but it offers no encapsulation of the trigger. I don't want the bulk of a full holster, so this fits the bill for me. I tie the tether to my belt or beltloop and when I draw, the trigger guard pulls off and is retained by the tether. Re-holstering isn't that easy, though, since I carry 6 o'clock. Appendix or 3 or 4 o'clock would be easier in this regard.

When the G43 is not in a belly band holster (bought here on Amazon) or a hip holster, it rides in a small-ish "fanny pack" bag, loose. This trigger sheath is ideal for that situation... or loose in your pocket or other bag, etc. The paracord facilitates instant removal. I feel very safe with this trigger sheath on the G43. I know some people have the paracord tied off to something on the inside of their bag so when they have to draw, the sheath comes off without having to remove it manually, which is not a bad idea. I personally like to not tie it so I don't have to untie it when moving from bag to bag. Your choice ! Great product, worth every penny.

The original holster did not properly fit the gun (M&P bodayguard 380) However they did a great job replacing the unit and shipping me out a new one that fit perfectly.Love it!

I purchased this as an inexpensive way to protect the trigger of my M&P 9c when carrying in a waist bag or when I need to unholster and place it in the glove compartment of my car. Initially, the guard was very tight but after a dozen times it seemed to loosen up. I have still not tested it by drawing it from a bag. It might be too tight for that but I will see. My guess is the manufacturer would assist me if I have a problem. It's an American made product which I like. The price was great.

I tried it on my EDC and it worked perfectly on a belly band and sling bag for when you don't use a holster. It attached with a quiet click just like a kydex holster and pulled off with the same resistance. I purchased more for my unholstered safe queens laying on the shelf.

I had hoped this would fit over a laser I had on my 43X MOS but it does not. To be fair, it does not say it will and makes no claim to do so. I was just hopeful. The laser will go and this will stay most of the time. I got this to pair with an Eberlestock Bando Bag and it works great. Rip open the bag, draw the weapon, and the sheath breaks cleanly away at the end of the rope. Your finger should be along the slide as you draw so as not to inadvertently put your finger on the trigger and then your finger slides into the trigger guard as you come up on target. This regular draw allows the sheath to easily break away and you are off to do your business. Works like it should and I have no complaints. I can't speak to longevity as I have not had it that long but after a bunch of draws and getting familiar with the bag/sheath, I don't see how it's going to have any problems for years to come. It's kydex. It does what it's supposed to do.

Returning this. Despite being labeled for use on Glock 43/43X/48 pistols, it does not fit. It’s way too big, and falls off immediately. Maybe the one I received was actually for a different (larger) model of Glock and was mistakenly labeled as for the 43/48 series… Whatever the case, it doesn’t fit and is getting returned.
