I wish I could express how far 3D scanning has come, and how amazing the Revopoint Pop 3 is. It does lose detail for smaller objects, but if I had the money I would totally go for the Revopoint Miraco. That device can measure tiny to large items. Back to the Revopoint Pop 3, the software has definitely improved and I think you can see they have made great progress and understand your spending your hard earned money. It’s a quality built product. The case came with everything you need. I was scanning with 10 minutes or less from opening the case. I had to download the software, then began scanning. It’s kind of intuitive and easier than it used to be. If you’re new to 3D scanning, your best bet is to follow the manual instructions and to search for YouTube tutorial videos.

The Revopoint comes as a very complete kit, and I love the included case that neatly holds all the components. However, this scanner isn’t magic—careful technique is required to achieve good scans. For items with details larger than 1-2mm and up to the size of a helmet, it does a great job.I probably should have bought the Revepoint Mini 2, since I'm often trying to capture details down to .1mm. Apparently that model is nade for smaller objects. But for what the POP3+ is designed to handle, it’s a solid and reliable scanner.

After using the Revopoint POP 3 Plus 3D Scanner, I must say my experience has been exceptional. I have used POP 2 before so I see the difference. This POP 3 Plus scanner excels not only in capturing medium-sized objects but also in terms of user-friendliness and file compatibility. One of the standout features of the POP 3 Plus is its high-speed stable scanning functionality. With scanning speeds reaching up to 18 frames per second, which really fast for my scanning and the integration of a 9-axis IMU for stabilization, this device ensures a smooth and efficient scanning process.I tried to capture models like action figures and even fruits. I found that POP3 Plus can capture medium-sized objects with such detail and ease has truly elevated my projects. Whether it's the fine details of a miniature character, fruits or the shape of spare parts. You can see the pictures I attached.Additionally, the new optical zoom function on the POP 3 Plus projector, offering 1.5x and 2x magnification options, provides an incredible 30% increase in point cloud detail. This level of fidelity allows for the creation of highly detailed and realistic 3D models that surpass expectations.Revo Scan software intuitive interface and detailed tutorials have made scanning and editing a breeze. The newly introduced Global marker tracking mode has added a whole new level of precision to my scans, making the entire process smoother and more accurate. During my use of the POP 3 Plus, the software update was performed. And I thought it consistently improved my scanning experience, so that my scanning capabilities stay efficient.Really recommend you POP 3 Plus.

Great little scanner for the money. Good for hobbyists. Compared to some of the professional equipment and software I've used, this is pretty good. The scanner is a good build quality and functionally, it's as good as you're going to get at this price point. The software is a little janky in spots, but does the job well once you figure out the in's and out's of it. Would gladly buy again.

Bought a Moose Pro first and sent it back within days. For a scanner that advertised enhanced tracking, its tracking was horrible! This pop3 plus doesn't have blue light or the fancy AI tracking of the Moose, but tracks much better than the Moose. I think it is mostly the quality of the software being the difference. Revoscan isn't perfect but far outshines the other software. I bought it mainly to do head scans and it does that very nicely. For those doing the same, make sure to use fast mode instead of high accuracy if your subject has hair!

For the money I spent no thanks. No instructions at all on how to use. Had no clue what app to use very Unsatisfied with this product. Company reached out saying they would help resolve problem. They completely wasted my time went to get a refund. My return window closed they knew exactly what they where doing. As soon as I couldn't return it they where done talking to me as well. COMPLETELY SHADY DO NOT BUY

Okay yes it scans, yes the software is pretty good that you use to edit.However it doesn’t get all the details of SMALL figurines and keychains like I wanted. Sometimes it scans grainy too. I will return and try and more effective one.There is a learning curve too if you are unfamiliar with 3D modeling and Scanning FYI.
