This is a superb and pretty powerful lighting unit. Love the ability to run manual with variable brightness, or run 24/7 with dawn, day, dusk and moonlight simulations. Thus far the plants are holding up and the 24w unit lights a 30” deep aquarium to the gravel.

Looks good and works all day long.Different colors and brightness levels. Easy to install . 24 hour presets.But … the extension mounts could be better

I've now purchased two of these lights for my newt and goldfish tanks. The quality is fantastic. There are multiple light settings for different moods. The timer function is convenient. Overall great value for the money.

I've had a small handful of my plants in the tank for 6 days and a majority of them for 3 and already have new leaves sprouting, and the plants that are 6 days old are already thriving.Given that the water parameters are within the proper range, this is my personal experience, which also means that the light bar is not going to be a limiting factor.I've had my light on a 10hr cycle with the built in controller, it starts out with a nice low light and gradually gets brighter and then dims back down as the 10 hours runs out. It is full spectrum and very conveniently it runs on a loop, so you don't have to turn the light back on manually every day! This is very nice if you have a CO2 system on a timer so the CO2 and Lighting can be controlled in tandem. This makes maintaining water parameters very easy and consistent.I may buy a second light in the future just for the sake of more even light distribution across the bottom of the tank, but as of right now I have new growths and leaves anywhere from the front of the tank to the very back corner, so it may not really be necessary. The light is distributed very well across the tank

Light is nice and bright but when it's set to 6 10 or 12 hours you can't change the brightness. I've been using the 24/7 mode and it works well it's definitely neat been great for my plants in the tank

Great value. I have only had the light but so far it has worked great. Easy to set up unlike some others that are complicated to program. I love the 24/7 feature that cycles through the daylight hours. I can’t wait to see how well the coral thrives with the new light.
