Absolutely the very best Over Patch that I've ever tried!
I volunteer with a local fire department. In my leisure, I'm usually running around in a t-shirt. When we have a call, I have to put on my Turnout Coat. When the Emergency is over, I take it off. This is where I most often had my CGM pull out.I was using a CGM by another major manufacturer. No matter which brand of Over Patch I tried, including elastic armbands or hook and loop armband, my CGM kept getting knocked off. I got tired of calling the manufacturer and requesting replacements. The "customer service" rep would go through their question tree to make sure that I was doing everything possible to not lose my CGM's, making me feel like a criminal or a scammer. When the opportunity arose, I switched to the G7 and began my Over Patch search all over again. I tried two others before I ordered the Kovoq. The adhesive is relatively strong. The reusable plastic shell is where the magic begins. Even if the Over Patch accidentally gets pulled off, that only takes the plastic shell with it. The CGM should still be attached to your arm.It can be challenging to apply by yourself, but if you have someone to help you, it takes about 30 seconds to get it aligned and applied. I've had to change Over Patches a couple of times because they had gotten frayed and started to pull away but the cost of an Over Patch is way less expensive than replacing a CGM.One thing I do recommend is getting a bottle of Adhesive Remover to remove residual glue when changing Over Patches. The one I got recommended Cotton Balls but I found that a piece of first aid Gauze works much better.

Stays on, protects, not causing itchy skin.
I am tough on my dexcom7s. I run into doorframe, shelves....and knock my sensors off. I tried a protector that fits over the sensor and has a wider base. It improved my results. This one is a solid sticker and has a hard plastic "hat" over the sensor.I have hit it a couple times and did not dislodge the dexcom. So works great! The stickers that come with this sem to work with sweat, water, and very sensitive skin. I break out at most adhesives, this one has been good.It does fray with showers. For me, the point is to have this on for protection from bumps. Also, to provide a sacrificial layer for showers. When it starts to peel, I remove the outer sticker and "hat", replace the sticker and reapply.

Stays on!
These over patches stay on better than most. I swim three times a week and most overpatches I've tried start to come off after swimming. These stay in place. I like the patches that come with the hard shell protector for the sensor. I've definitely had the most success with this style. I tried another variation of this brand that had a slightly smaller diameter patch and didn't hold up as well after swimming so I was pleasantly surprised with this variation. The two things I'm not crazy about are1) I'd prefer a single neutral or muted color. The multi-colors that can match you outfit are not my style.2) The edges of the patch become very frayed especially after they get wet. Now that the weather is getting cooler and I'm wearing more long sleeves it's less of an issue. But when the patch has to show, I don't like when strings are hanging from the edges.Overall, for durability and comfort this is one of the better patches I've tried.

CGM Covers
I bought these for my mother to use to cover her CGM during her baths and we do use 2 of them and they ease her mind about getting the CGM wet. They did the job in protecting the CGM and I highly recommend them

PAY CLOSE ATTENTION BEFORE YOU BUY
They kind of go out of their way to make it look like the patches are formed and they each have their own hard shell. NO. The patches are flat and there is only 1 hardshell that is apparently reusable. The shell covers the G7 fine, but I haven't figured out how to get the patch on without any wrinkles. If there is a way, it ain't obvious! I don't yet know how this will protect against the G7 getting knocked off your arm by a doorframe but with the wrinkles, I'm not confident. I'm not saying these suck or even that they don't work, just that the description is vague, bordering on quasi-misleading. If I'm wrong, I'll rewrite this review. [11/27/2023]

Great overpatch for Stelo
This is a great overpatch for the Stelo. The plastic cap protects it from minor bumps, and the patch itself is easy to apply and sticks well. The patch lasts at least 10 days before the edges start to fray (note: I cover it with tegaderm when I shower). If you need to remove the patch, the cap prevents it taking off the Stelo too.

Don't stick
These didn't stick. I tried 5 and gave up after they almost caused me to lose a sensor. A sticker peeled back and stuck to my shirt almost ripping the sensor off. The edges also frayed on the longest lasting one of 3 days.

I was excited to try
Easy to use but it kept blocking my sensor signal. The receiver, my watch, my phone and iPad had lots of trouble receiving the signal. I removed the plastic cover after 6 hrs of struggling with signals. I only lifted the corner removed the cover. Recovered the sensor with the band aid and the sensor began working fine. Unless there is a redesign I won’t waste my money.
