Perfect for video on BMW factory screen
I’m not sure why this product doesn’t have better reviews. It works perfectly in my 2025 BMW i7. I have it hooked up to the car’s hotspot. I’m able to watch streaming content from YouTube, Netflix and several other apps. I even downloaded games like Madden Mobile and use a Bluetooth XBox controller. I’ve tried similar devices in the past. This one is way better than any I’ve used, especially since it uses wireless CarPlay for the connection. I like that it also supports a MicroSD card where I have movies and music videos stored. I recommend using the preinstalled VLC player for downloaded videos.

Unreliable freezes and drops connections every 5 minutes
Terrible connection issues. Do not buy this product. It will play for a little bit of time, then drop connection and intermittently fail. The unit will crash repeatedly in which you have to unplug the usb and plug it back in. It’s so annoying because this will crash every 5 minutes, especially if you’re in the middle of watching YouTube, or sharing split screen with apps like Waze and YouTube etc. The manufacturer should acknowledge these issues and patch it. You have been warned!

Not worth the hassle
So fidgety it's useless. Slow ... unresponsive....locks up. Drops the connection often and restarts. Good in theory.... absolutely crap in execution.

My opinion
This device is inconsistent and it makes connecting to my phone an issue when making and receiving calls. Videos play well but after some time you get no sound. The device gets extremely hot, something to watch out for. Lastly, I did think this item was over priced.

It works good
It works well for my 2022 x3. Good connection is the only important thing when it comes to playing your videos. Im very pleased, I can watch youtube, netflix and a bunch of other apps on my display now

Actually connects through BMW carplay
Works on my 2017 BMW x5 with some quirks. Doesn't do wireless Android auto, just android through the carplay connection. Make sure you have a sim ready or activate the car's wifi. The customer support worked hard to troubleshoot.
