Super thick nice blade!
For the price I was blown away at how thick this blade is and how sturdy it is. You can wack a 1-2 inch diameter tree down in one hit. The gutter on the back side is awesome for chopping at briars or vines. Overall very impressed at the quality of this blade as such a great price. Thinking of buying another just to keep clean and show off because it's such a nice blade!

Very sharp and will slay brush
I like it is hardened stainless steel blade. When you compare this to a cheap machete you buy at walmart that has a mild steel blade you can immediately notice a huge difference. This blade holds an edge seemingly forever. I cut a LOT of brush at my deer lease clearing trails and shooting lanes and trying to use a cheap blade machete is probably 3-4 times the work. This blade gets it done in a hurry.I would exercise some caution in that this full size machete is a bit meaty/heavy and while the grip is easy to hang on to you can still lose your grip occasionally when fighting back brush... it could have benefited from a wrist strap to prevent this thing from flying out of your hand completely. Also more on the hardened steel blade... I love how long the edge last due to its hardness but i bought this full size one because I actually broke the smaller version while attemping to cut a limb in half... I wanted to get a very clean cut so i placed the stick i was cutting against a tree to back up the cut so i could cut clean thru and to my surprise the blade snapped in half! So it seems you should not use this to replace you hatchet! It is great for brush though but use caution when you are hammering against a more solid tree with little give. I would def recommend it though as it is the best one I have ever had.

Very durable
This thing is awesome. I’ve seen reviews saying it broke in half, and all I can say is that it must have hit sideways, because mine fell off the mower and I hit it and all that happened to the machete was the handle broke and a chipped edge, but the blade on the mower got bent really bad. Great tool, especially if it’s used correctly, and holds a good edge..

beautiful and functional
My husband and I both got one of these recently because we are planning a week long hiking/camping trip with our kids late in the spring. At that time of year there are a few things to worry about and poisonous snakes are at the top of my list. We took these out and they were razor sharp and ready for use. The blade is thick and it has weight behind it which actually makes it easier to wield. I did a bit of brush clearing and it was effortless. I am very pleased with how it has helped me manicure my front yard of the ever intrusive vines in the hedges. I even took out a few limbs that were hanging a bit low. I have a feeling I will be bit safer this year when we go camping and the snakes won't know what hit them.Camillus Titanium bonded carnivore Maxx Machete - around $40...keeping my kids from getting bit by a rattle snake - priceless.

Defective but lovable
I absolutely love it but be careful the blade has the potential to cause serious self harm defects are common in it and can cause breakage or flying sharp metal, mishandling is dangerous it cuts like butter I should know lol . When my first one formed a crack after 2 weeks of use I bought another one because I clouldnt get it replaced the manufacturer wanted me to provide a receipt of purchase which I didn’t have because I bought it online. It definitely has the downsides but I love it anyway . Only buy if you are a mad lad willing to put your limbs on the line 😎

Good blade it won’t disappoint
This is way better than the SOG I bought. Good thick blade and very sharp! I wanted a good blade that was easy to clean straight and heavy. I am very happy with this blade.

Nice product! Great value! Love it! Bought 3
Love it !!!!! Took it through some terrible thickets and clear a path with ease . Thumbs up for me . It’s 23” long blade has some weight . So more like full adult size . They have shorter versions too. Make sure it’s the same model line .

For serious bushcrafting, look elsewhere!
This is a heavy machete. This blade has a cool factor but it is not very functional in the field. The straight blade is horrible for cutting through most brush and the serrated portion of the blade is completely useless. It constantly catches on the sheath when sheathing the blade. Of all the downfalls with this blade, the thing that bothered me the most is that this blade does NOT have a lanyard hole!

Worth the extra money!
This think is amazing i hacked a few 4 inch trees down in 3 swipes no joking. Has a great heavy weaight to the blade and hasent lost its razor sharp edge yet. I strapped it to my 4 wheeler and its perfect for clearing trails. I would use this over a hatchet anyday. Just be careful on the follow through you could lose a limb. Only thing i would change would be a moulded handle with a wrist strap. The handle is a little light. But this is deffinatly worth the extra money from a steel blade. You will never need to sharpen titanium its so hard.**Update 5 years later i snapped the blade using it in -10C weather.

Excited (embarrassingly so)
This is longer, stronger and more beautiful than many swords and its going to break my heart to use it. But, use it I must. It's so SHARP! I now know why men have nipples.
