Excellent light. I have a Fluval Flex 32 gallon tank. I was running Fluval Flex led hood with a second strip added. The Hyger strip is brighter yet not as harsh. The colors of the fish are so much deeper. I debated dropping to four stars due to the very confusing programming as many have stated. I am using a TP-Link switch to turn on and off, so I just use the 24/7 with all spectrum settings at 100%. Highly recommend for the Flex system over the standard hood.

Now I understand why many aquarium owners replace the original tank lights that come with an aquarium. What a difference! I recommend this product because it provides great light and has a remote-control with color options and a 24/7 timer mode to turn the lights on and off. Very easy to set-up - just plug it in and then program your options. The product is very slim, looks attractive, and the remote control works perfectly. The cell battery is an extra bonus because if the electricity goes off, it will remember your previous setting and update the current time of day. You won't have to reprogram it when the electricity comes back on. There is a bracket on each end to extend the length, if necessary. Please measure your fish tank before ordering to ensure the proper size light. Attached photos include a picture showing the lights from "underneath" the product. Light is great and super easy to use and is nice and bright and makes the tank look very clear. These picture are from the moonlight effect super nice.

Light dose not function as it should,,,and can't get a response from seller👎

10/24/24 Update - The seller reached out to me to address my review/concern. The seller pointed out that the clock issue may be due to the battery not being installed. Unfortunately, I then realized that I didn't get a battery but the production description mentioned the battery was supposed to come with it. The seller offered a refund for me to go buy the battery. After getting the battery, the result is about the same, I'm still losing about 40-45sec/day. Their response then was that I'd have to adjust the clock as this is just what it is. The star rating remained the same because nothing changed other than it came with the missing battery that the spec mentioned it came with the product. I really appreciate the seller reaching out to me to address my concerns and compensate for the battery but nothing was fixed. Original 9/21/24 - This aquarium light has a timer based on a clock. This takes care of the automation that I need for my aquarium. The LEDs are extremely bright which I had to dim it down. It has a preset color that I can adjust to but I'm mainly using it for the timer. The setup was pretty easy and I did read the manual to figure out the L1 to L5 for the 24/7 feature. The product video also shows how to set the light up which I really appreciate. The main issue that I have with the timer is that the clock loses about 45 seconds per day. So after using this for a week, I lost about 5 minutes. So I guess after 60 days I'll lose about 45 minutes so be prepared to constantly adjust the clock. For the $68 price, I would have thought they just used the clock circuit with better crystal. It's too bad that there isn't an easy way to sync the clock or otherwise this would have been a perfect product.

I am satisfied with the build quality of the light. The timer/light controller which was the feature that helped justify the cost of the light, gains about five minutes per day which requires resetting the time at least weekly. It did not appear the back-up battery was included with the timer as advertised. To be fair, it is possible I discarded the battery with the packing material.

La lampara(42w) se calienta bastante, pero en serio, bastante! A tan solo 2 semanas de uso no tengo ningún inconveniente con la calidad de la luz y lo brillante que es, eso es muy bueno. Pero… esta lampara tiene un problema MUY SERIO. Y es su reloj, el reloj se adelanta 2 minutos cada día y tienes que estar corrigiendo la hora para que coincida con tus otros timers. Tienen que arreglar el reloj, es lo único que impide que esta lampara sea perfecta.
