Q: Is it suitable for R-410-A?

As far as I know it is suitable for any refrigerant. Just make sure you take it into a vacuum when you get it to get any moisture or impurities out. As long as you don't mix different refrigerants into the same tank you are fine.

Q: With what gas is the cylinder filled when delivered? If it's nitrogen, I'd like to use it to pressure-test a system before using it for recovery.

It's filled with nitrogen, but it may not contain enough gas for pressure testing?

Q: Can the tank handle 410a in a van on a 90 degree day.

Well the relief valve pressure is 600 psi so at 90 degrees 410a is at about 275 psig so I would say you would be fine. The tanks for 410a need a minimum of a 400 psi rating. Later.

Q: can this tank be used as an add-on for an air compressor? the pressure rating exceeds the 225# of my compressor's tank.

I think it is ok if you don't exceed the max pressure capacity.
