This product was recommended by Wound Care Dr. I had a nasty dog bite and needed special care. This worked wonders to help the wound heal.

Iodoflex was recommended by my husband's podiatrist for use in an infected toe. It’s like a red clay (careful, it stains) that's rolled flat between 2 pieces of gauze. We cut a little square of it, put it on the infected would, wrapped a piece of gauze around it and covered it with a 1” section of tube gauze. We washed the wound and put on fresh Iodoflex and gauze every morning for about 10 days and the infection healed beautifully. This has happened about 10 times the past few years (he has claw toes) and it’s always worked beautifully. This product is a staple in our house.

If you were to get a prescription, the cost would be prohibited! But for a fraction of the cost, this product, works on opened, hard to heal blisters by absorbing the moisture and keeping it clean with just a dab and a breathable band aid.

a little pricey, but just the ticket to get old lesions to scab over. my buddy uses it on his feet, as he is a diabetic. worked for him too.causes a lot of fluid to be produced in the wound, kind of scary at first, thought the wound got infected, but that's what it does, makes the wound fill up with fluid, then form a solid scab. Keep it dry though. works in 24-48 hours.

Used for healing diabetic ingrown toe area after nail was removed. Very good and effective. Seals wound and heals. Must use gauze or a spy covering to keep in place or even dry will flake off

This medicine is excellent for my husbands ankles. He has some type of condition and this stuff is terrific.
