J Is for Jazz: A Roaring Twenties Alphabet (BabyLit) Board book – February 7, 2017

Absolutely charming ABC book, cannot recommend enough!

I love this book! The illustrations are fun and reading is enjoyable; better than the "A is for Apple, B is for ball" variety. I appreciate the inclusion of men and women with various skin tones and preforming both domestic and professional tasks/roles. My particular book came slightly warped so, it does not lay flat. Thus the four star rating.

We love these baby lit books! The aesthetic is so great and for my kindergartener, so fun as he works on reading and letter sounds.

I loved the fact that it was both special and unusual alphabet book

I absolutely LOVE this book. I have been buying one BabyLit board book every month for my soon to be born nephew since my sister told me she was pregnant. I started with the Pride and Prejudice Counting Primer and was completely hooked. However, so far the one I love the most is J Is for Jazz!The illustrations are beautiful. Seriously, since getting it in the mail I have left it on my kitchen table and just look at it while eating breakfast. The illustrations are alive with excitement and movement and I love the historical bent of all of them. The words are interesting and time period specific with a few I didn’t even recognize at first. The material is high quality. I bought a good used edition and it still looks great and feels substantial.In conclusion, this is a fascinating board book that I really enjoy looking at even as an adult. I will definitely be buying more of the BabyLit Alphabet books.

This is my favorite in this series. They are all great but this one I LOVE!
