Broken
We were disappointed with this product. When we received it, it did NOT work! I was going to send it back but my husband said he could fix it. He opened it up the wire to the speaker was broken. Thank heaven my husband is an electrical engineer and he fixed it. My 4 year old great niece loved it and it is now driving my niece crazy. Good sounds.

Grandkid & Grandma love it - Mom & Dad, not so much!
Cool idea. Seems to be exactly as advertised. Seems sturdy. Probably best used outside only - sounds are loud & can be annoying to parents.Would not buy again UNTIL they modify it by either:Put a volume control on the sounds (they're too loud & drive parents nuts!)ORPut a SOUND OFF switch on this item.I'm not returning it - it's exactly as described and there's nothing wrong with it.I suspect that this toy will end up at *MY* house - sooner or later! ;)

Annoying Me!
My daughter received this toy from Santa. Darn him anyway ... he must not have known that the on/off switch is easily bumped by toys in the toy box, resulting in a glowing light for hours. And the noise buttons can NOT be turned off, so shifting toys in the toybox send out whale calls, dolphin chirps and more at any given moment. If anyone knows how to turn off the toy when not in use ... please let me know.

The light did not work, only the sounds
The light never worked on this, just the sound, I couldn't return it as my son wanted to play with it but very disappointed for the price of it.

Fun and functional!
Our son loves animals - especially sea creatures. This flashlight is great because it provides him a light at night and makes fun sounds for him to imitate. His little brother likes playing with it too and, together, they have NOT broken it yet. It must be made well!

Fun, durable
I bought one for my 3 year-old grandson for his birthday, he just loves it. So does his 18 month-old brother so I bought this one for him for Christmas.
