Good power, make sure to spec your converter properly
Love the sloppy stage 2 cam, this bumpstick is great for the price. Highly reccomend buying the genuine article. Make sure to ignore your cam bearings.

great cam check pushrod length
to save someone some time and hassle.. I installed this in a lm7 5.3 with 7.400 pushrods..I believe this pushrod length is gonna be fine for me.. but I could have used a little longer..I could not find a definite answer when searching for what length I needed to order with the cam.

Can't beat it for the price
Put one in a 6.0 and it has a nice mild lope, has no issue supporting the power brakes, and absolutely loves NITROUS!! Most people use it with a turbo, but I tried it with a nitrous car. With nothing at all changed, but the camshaft, the car went 1/2 second quicker, on a 50hp less nitrous jetting...

Name brand SS2, not worth the hassle
I figured I would order actual name brand "sloppy stage 2" cam, and have had nothing but issues. The first cam was "shipped" and was never actually shipped. Then when they reorder it, I received this cam, which was filthy, had some plaster on it, and was pitted on the lobes.

Not sure what to think
Just received the E1840p cam and I’m a little weary now that I’m looking at it. First thing I noticed was sort sort of hard orange and white paint around the lobes with some black markings underneath. Then I checked the stamped number and can barely make out 2871P on the back on the cam. I don’t know if it was poor manufacturing or if somebody sent back a different cam and tried to stamp the back of it themselves.

This is a proper camshaft unlike most of the other china junk listed on Amazon. Went in nice and dyno great!

Cam came in great shape. Put this in an lq4. With 706 heads (5.3 heads higher compression) ls7 lifters. Ls7 head gaskets. with the msd box and a 650 Holley carb. Made 525hp on the dyno. Can’t beat that budget build.

The cam shows that the surface hardening has been done after manufactured a key point to wear issues and failure, overseas cams a cheap for a reason, cam lobe failure can cause a complete engine failure.

Found this item at a great price and was pleasently surprised it was in new condition.

The cam came in rusty, wasn’t even oiled. Very disappointed.
