Good for the money
Installed by my electrician to the boiler. Works well and can be programmed to turn on/off at two points in the day. Can also be turned on manually. The thermostat seems to work well and can be placed in your desired position to heat the house.

Works well if you need temperature control at different points in your house
I bought one of these last year to replace a failing one (from a different supplier). It's relatively easy to install and there are plenty of guides on YouTube but I would recommend you get an electrician in if you don't feel comfortable.Having a portable thermostat is really useful depending on your use-case. Heat rises (funnily enough...) so we tend to take the thermostat upstairs when we go to bed. This way we keep it on a constant temperature and the the upstairs rooms don't overheat.Anyway - this is our second purchase of this unit. Why? Because someone managed to drop the original and smash the LCD! Don't get me wrong - it's a reasonably solid unit but it is plastic at the end of the day. It's survived a few bounces but this was one too many! The bad news was that I had to pay for a new one - the good news was that the thermostat can be 'paired' to the existing receiving unit - which meant I didn't have to install the new one.

Does the job well
Has lots of features which other products don't. Easy to set up once you read the manual a few times. Don't need to add any wiring it sends signals by radio. Time set up is automatic also clock's forward. We'll pleased with this product.Good value for money.

Remote heat controller
We bought this to replace the previous misplaced remote thermostat. Fitting, installing and pairing was a breeze. It has worked perfectly through the winter and looks sturdy enough to last for a long time.

heating engineer review
As a heating engineer, I always keep a few thermostats in my van and have been using ESI for a few years now. First of all, it’s budget-friendly and wireless, making it an excellent choice for installing new boilers, as ESI thermostats are programmable and compliant with Boiler Plus regulations. Secondly, they are a great replacement for any faulty wireless thermostat, thanks to their standard backplate for the receiver. The price on Amazon was also spot on, matching that of my local merchant where I usually buy other parts, but with the added convenience of doorstep delivery. Additionally, having a stand and a clear temperature display makes it even more convenient to use.

Brilliant, easy to install and works really well.
This is a great piece of kit at a decent price.I was sick of my wall themostat clicking on and off througout the night, i know it's weird but the sound of it just annoyed me.There are some great videos on youtube on how to install this and there are a couple of ways on how to wire it in to the boiler side. I chose to use a new 3 core from the receiver straight into the boiler PCB after disconnecting the wall thermostat connections on the PCB. Explanation below. The themostat is already paired up straight from the box but it's pretty easy to pair it up if it isn't. Its great just having the themostat in any room you want.Worcester Boch Greenstar 2000 - 3 core cable (Live, Neutral, Earth) N.B. the receiver doesn't need to be earthed so i used the Earth wire as the signal wire.Turn Boiler off before you start and remove anything wired into LR LS NS on the boiler PCB.Receiver - Live to L - Neutral to N, then put a small wire link between Live and 1, then Earth (signal wire) to number 2 (which is the switch)Boiler PCB - Live to LS - Neutral to NS and Earth (which is your signal wire) to LR.Thats it, turn boiler back on which gives the receiver power, make sure thermo and receiver is paired and away you go.You can mark the Earth wire with a permenant marker for anyone looking at it after to show it's not an Earth wire.
