This product definitely delivers on the promise of being able to vacuum the dust out of bins without having to remove the contents of the bin, which simply allows for faster cleaning (and isn't that the point of a product like this). Unless the contents of the bin are very small or very light weight the vacuum will not suck them up through this attachment. This attachment is especially effective in sucking up the clumps of dust that accumulate, but it is not as good for thin films of dust. It is much more effective in the vertical (up & down) orientation; the closer it gets to the horizontal it tends to leave more streaks of dust (from gaps between the straws) but you will still need to use a microfiber cloth to dust at some point (but less often). The construction overall is solid. The plastic is of reasonable quality and thickness - definitely not flimsy or not prone to breakage under normal use. The adhesive definitely wetted and bonded between each of the "straws" and the plastic body; no leak paths are evident. One issue is the number of adapters needed (I needed all three of the included adapters), which when assembled together makes the overall attachment a bit long and modestly more cumbersome to use (however, not a deal breaker for me). Also, because I am using this attachment with a cordless Dyson V8 vacuum, I needed another adapter (Dyson V8 to Dyson V6). Overall a solid product and worth including in your vacuuming "tool box".Suggestioned improvements to make this a 5-star product:1. More choices of direct adapters (which is very challenging because of all the different vacuums). Literally having to use 4 adapters is much less than ideal.2. Increase the number of straws in the bundle and place them closer together. This would provide more uniform vacuum suction. Maybe the second vacuum head should have more straws.3. Include a negative ion generator to allow more of the statically charged dust (the thin films of dust that are hard to remove) to be sucked up & faster.

I use this on my Dyson handheld to tidy drawers mostly and the product works as advertised to get out the crumbs without my having to remove the other contents. I am not completely happy though since by the time I put together all the adapters the attachment is rather long so a bit awkward to hold. Normally I use a crevice tool on my handheld to do this work, but some items in the drawer can be sucked in through that device which is why I decided to give this a try. The Dyson adapter works, but adds more length to the over all tool which is long anyway so it's longer than the crevice tool and I have to hold it up higher above the drawer than is comfortable.No instructions come with the product that tell you how it fits together with the adapters and pictures on the box are no help. Furthermore the extra head was wedged so tightly into one of the adapters (backwards so as to fit in the box) that it looked like a permanent arrangement. I actually had to look on Amazon at another product that is shown all put together to see how it was supposed to fit--it is not intuitive--and then I had to use pliers to remove the inserted extra head from that part. Once together though it does work as described and I've found it useful, just a bit awkward to hold.One unexpected benefit--if you use space bags and have a Dyson, you know it's pretty much impossible to suck the air out because of the Dyson attachments' shape. The Dyson adapter for this product offers a smooth end that fits snuggly against the intake of the space bag to get the air removed from the bag. I actually paid more than this for a Dyson attachment straight from them and still had to wrap the end in duct tape to get it to work. This attachment is perfect.

I used it to clean out the interior of my desktop PC. I used it to clean the dust that was clogging the CPU fan and causes it to run at a high speed so the heat would not build up enough to blow the CPU. I found that by isolating a couple of the tiny plastic straws and putting my thumb over the ends of the remaining straws, I could poke the two straws between the fan blades and get to the dust between the fins of the radiator that sits atop the CPU. It took some trial and error but eventually I got 95% of the dust out. I used the thing everywhere I saw dust pockets. After I was done the I put the case cover back on, reattached the keyboard, monitor, speakers, mouse, etc., and powered up. I got a series of continuous beeps. It turns out that the memory cards needed to be reseated. After I did that the PC now runs very quietly. Nice. My only gripe is that the plastic tubes need to be a bit more flexible and maybe not so many. But it does do the job I needed it for. It did fit the Dyson vacuum we got.

The fibers appeared to be soft in the video I saw but they are hard plastic and stiff and do not reach within the keys of a keyboard at all. Very disappointed in the product. They did give me a full refund however.

I have a little infra-red heater that looks like a fireplace and I use it every night. Two nights ago it quit working. After checking the manual, I opened the back of the unit and vacuumed the intake on the fan. Without this tool, I would not have been able to clean this intake. Because I could bend the tubes, I cleaned off the intake holes and I have my heater back. Again, I use this heater every night and the loss of it would have been devastating to me. This experience paid for the item many times over. So very glad I bought it!!! I would recommend it to anyone. You never know when you are going to have a hard-to-reach area that is essential to clean, but hard to reach. I do not have to buy a new heater. Thank you.
