I used the XGGYA Old Work Box for adding a new switch in an existing wall, and it worked perfectly. The plastic is sturdy and doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy, and the clamps tightened securely without cracking the drywall. The 14 cu in capacity provides plenty of room for wiring, which made the install much easier and cleaner. Perfect for my use case! It is cheap and easy to use. Just cut a rectangle out from your drywall, slide it in and use a screwdriver to clamp on to the drywall.
