Tempur-Pedic TEMPUR-Cloud Pillow for Sleeping, Standard, White

My daughter has been struggling to find a good pillow that does not hurt her ears. She is a tummy sleeper, as am I. I have also been struggling to find the perfect pillow. I heard about Tempur pillows and thought it a good idea to buy my daughter a pillow for her birthday. It arrived last night. She tried it out during the night. When she woke up this morning, the first thing she said was that the pillow is amazing. It was a good night for her. She said it felt like sleeping on a marshmallow - soft enough to not hurt her ears but firm enough to support her neck. The pillow is very comfortable. 😊

I knew I needed a very soft pillow - all the foam pillows I had bought recently to try to upgrade our home pilllow selection seemed ok to the touch but were still too firm once I tried them out, but recently I also had some neck pain that needed some gentle support and the old old foam pillow I had that was so very soft was losing its supportive qualities and the pain wasn’t getting better. This one seemed by description to fit the bill- very soft by the company’s own definition but also with support. I’m happy to report this is exactly as advertised- the softest foam pillow I’ve tried out of the box but also good support. Pain has improved since I started using this pillow. I would buy more if we need more pillows, it’s perfect for me and I think would be comfortable for most people. I think you just need to figure out how firm you need your pillow and also height preference . I’m an all over sleeper -back, side, even belly sometimes, so it’s fine for me, but it is a little taller compared to other pillows I’ve bought recently. I didn’t compare/try other prominent pillow brands, mostly my experience is Ikea (my daughter uses a very flat and nice foam pillow from them that is even a little pricier than this one and it works well for her), and whatever brands happen to be available at target and Costco. This price point for a name brand is reasonable, I think; I was looking at other brands way over $100, and I was willing to spend that much for something that would work long term, so this one working was great. Also, this definitely does not have any cooling effect technology, which is fine by me, but something to consider if you do like cool pillows. (Although, PSA: I recently had to throw away older foam pillows that had those cooling gel panels because the gel panels started disintegrating into sticky ooze; gross and had to throw away whole pillow because couldn’t dissociate from rest of the pillow. Sad cuz the foam part of those pillows were fine.) Anyway, if you like softer pillows but want good support, this one works well and is worth trying!!

I have finally found a perfect pillow. I had to discard my 15 year old memory foam pillow as it was no longer supportive. I prefer a low loft pillow with medium firmness and typically rotate sleeping positions from side to back. I tried the very trendy purple pillow but hated it. I also tried pillows from other well known brands that were advertised as low loft but were way too high for my petite frame. I bought a TempurPedic Symphony pillow that was the right loft but was too firm even though it was advertised as "soft". There was nothing wrong with it, just not what I was looking for. The Cloud pillow is exactly what I was looking for. Soft and plush but with adequate and comfortable support. Comfort was the key for me here. It truly feels like sleeping on a cloud. The loft is only 5 inches which is perfect for me but may not work well for folks with larger frames. Overall, an outstanding product. Very satisfied.

Is it softer than a typical memory foam pillow? Yes. But it’s also a lot flatter. I don’t find this pillow rebounds very well. It’s good for stomach sleepers but not so much for side sleepers. I’m a 2/3 of the night side sleeper so it’s unfortunately not my magic pillow.

I’m a side sleeper and I got these cheap pillows a while back and they started to Mae my neck hurt to where I couldn’t sleep at night. I got this pillow and wow I can actually lay down again. No neck pain. It adjusts to where your head naturally lies so it’s perfect. It’s not cranking my head up, and it’s not cranking my head down either. It’s just right. And the feeling of it when u lay ur head on it and ur head just barely sinks in, is amazing. So soft and cushiony feeling.

It's super soft and comfy but a little too flat. I would've liked a little more firmness. I'm a belly sleeper and I hug my pillow so I feel like I need more cushion and firmness.

Love this pillow! Good support, I'm a side sleeper and it's so very comfortable. Just don't wash/dry it. It's very hard and about 5 inches thick. You can't compress it down. I had surgery and bled on my pillow. Thankfully I was able to get another one!

Let me start by saying, I could not be more unhappy with this pillow. It might be great for someone who sleeps exclusively on their back, but let me explain how this thing has ruined my right eye and just today almost did the same thing to my left eye. I sleep both on my sides or my stomach, but it should be obvious to anyone that I turn my head so I can breath! I pretty much never sleep on my back. Here’s the problem I’ve had to deal with for years now. When I lay my head on its side on the pillow, the pillow pushes, right where the sides of my eyes are because the foam or whatever they used is too resistant to being compressed. Like they made the foam to support bones, but eyes (& eyelids) are not as firm obviously. For starters this has made it harder to get comfortable and fall asleep because it’s limited how many positions are comfortable in relation to my arms and eyes and everything! So my skull does a great job compressing the foam, but the foam wins against things like my eyelids. I wake up more often than anyone should, with eye problems. Just imagine the corner of your eye having pillowcase fabric and debris constantly shoved, rubbed, and grinded into it while you’re trying to sleep. Eventually something gets in. So back to my eye being ruined, my right eye got a corneal abrasion and I now have scare tissue that has permanently affected my vision in my right eye. Confirmed by both an ophthalmologist and optometrist during examinations. Today I woke up to the same absolute nightmare with my left eye. This time doesn’t seem as bad, I am lucky I used eyewash to flush it out when I woke up and recognized the feeling, but I’m done with this thing, it’s time to find a replacement!
