Lion Brand Yarn Wool-Ease Thick & Quick Hometown, Quick Bonus Bundle Yarn, Cranberry

My 9-year-old daughter and I used this yarn to make our first knit project ever, a scarf that turned out quite well. The yarn was beautiful, soft, fluffy and easy to work with. We’ve already picked out a new color in the same series for a second project.

Since babies are no longer able to have afghans in their cribs as a prevention for SIDS, I have made two car seat/stroller wraps at 36" x 48" . I chose variegated colors. The colors are perky, the crochet pattern goes quickly, and itis soft but sturdy. I love this yarn!

This is the first time I have made a twin blanket from this product. It is wonderful to crochet with. Even the black (or heather type black) was fairly easy to crochet a simple half-double stitch blanket. I knew it would be a "winter" type blanket, but had no idea it would end up being so very heavy! I'm not disappointed in it though. It is almost like the "weighted blankets" that are being advertised to relax a person and soothe them. I am really amazed at the weight after only 1/3 of the blanket done. If you're looking for this type of heavy duty blanket, I used an "L" crochet hook - slightly smaller than the recommended "N", this yarn will give you what you want and is easy and fast to work up. I wouldn't recommend this for a baby blanket even in cold weather due to the weight. Otherwise, I'm thrilled and will order a lighter color next time to see the stitches better.

Beautiful sturdy yarn. I use it all the time for infinity scarfs. Strong, thick, and gorgeous colors.

The colors look better on screen than in person, however, once I worked it up it did look pretty nice as crocheted fingerless mitts. Aside from the color, I love this yarn - the thickness, the weight, the ease of working with it!

The yarn is thick and soft. I love the bigger bundle. It just lets you keep moving through your project. The tangerine color is quite pretty. It is a great color for a fall cowl!

This yarn is awesome. I used it with an XL pom-pom maker and they turned out wonderful. It's different shades/colors throughout the yarn, so the pom-poms are unique!

I'm making hats for the homeless and this bulky yarn knits up quick. I am not a fan of acrylic yarns but it has a bit of wool in it. It has the Lion Brand quality that I appreciate; very few if any factory joins in each skein and I've bought several and have yet to have a tangle as with some other brands.It's a great yarn to work up quick hats, scarves, hand warmers with size 9mm (US 11)knitting needles.

A cowl, love the colours in it!

This is one of my fav yarns to make toques with. And the bonus bundle size is perfect. This colour combo in particular - city lights - is wonderful. A DARK navy with little pops of bright neon colour.

It was not the bonus bundle. Certainly not worth the $24.

I have made dog coats and cowls with this yarn. It is very soft, with even stitching and feel much more woolly than its actual content. Lion Brand is new to me although I have been a compulsive knitter for 25 years, I love it and am so glad I found it. I thoroughly recommend.

The colours and weight were just what I wanted and the needles are light and easy to work with. Lovely garment completed in less than a week! I'm going to make a second project for my sister!
