THE BEST PICK THAT DUNLOP MAKES
I have been on the search for the perfect guitar pick for years. I have tried just about every shape and gimmick at this point, until I narrowed it down to this. I first tried a Jazz III XL ultex pick a few months ago, and found that the material was insanely durable. I would blow through normal tortex picks way too fast, and ultex solved that issue. Albeit its more expensive but for how long they last, that outweighs tortex being cheaper. What I wasnt happy with about the Jazz III XL Ultex was that they werent sharp enough. I just could not get enough articulation with my playing style. Then I found Ultex Sharps and it is the end all be all of guitar picks for me. They are absolutely perfect. The size is perfect, I have pretty large fingers and play hetfield-style with three fingers touching the pick and they fit. The perfect pick.

Fantastic picks
The pick attacks on these are nice and snappy, and consistent. There is no "clack" on the plain strings, nor "scratch" on the wound strings, if you know what I mean. They glide across the strings with ease. I have the 1.4mm and the 2.0mm and both are fantastic. It's been several months of only using one pick of each thickness and I have not noticed any wear. Because the underlying material is pretty stiff, there isn't much difference between 1.4mm and 2.0mm in terms of rigidity. However, I find the 1.4mm easier to hold. The 2.0mm occasionally slips a bit... the pick is thick enough that if my finger or thumb end up near the edge, it will slide down that relatively steep bevel on the pick edge. The 1.4mm is just thick enough to feel and play like a heavy pick, but thin enough that the bevel (which I wouldn't do without because it helps the pick glide better) doesn't present a slipping problem. One other thing to note is that these picks solve a problem I didn't know I had... when I play in the upper registers (17th fret and up) of the upper strings there is a tendency for the notes to get "plinky" when I use other picks. Hard to explain, but maybe you know what I'm talking about—all you hear is the pick attack, and very little of the actual note. Somehow, these picks cause those upper notes to ring loud and clear. It sounds great. Overall, both picks are better, in my opinion, than any of the other picks I own, which is a lot. By the way, this includes other picks of the same material but different shape, and other picks of the same shape but different material. The 1.4mm Ultex Sharp is just exactly perfect for me, but I'd still take the 2.0mm over any of my other picks if I had to.

Awesome pick HORRENDOUS Price
I paid $19.99 for 72. It quickly jumped to $40 and now these picks are between $40-$50 per 72 pack, depending on thickness. Don't be part of the problem just buy a cheaper pick. No legitimate reason for these to be over 100% mark-up.

Decent Picks, but can be hard to hold
These are made from a good material, but I have had a hard time holding on to them.

Sharp Point-good pickin
I used these many years ago, but then tried several other brands. The others were alright, but there's something about the sharp point and durability of these Dunlaps, that helps me navigate the guitar strings...good pickin'.

I love these ultex picks! Best pick material in my opinion. You get clear, bright sound with these picks. They last long and are very durable. I use the .90, the 2.0 and the 1.14 on my fender squier telecaster. I use the .90 on acoustic guitars. A little pricey compared to other material and other brands, but worth every penny.

They are my favorite pick, precise and last for months. I just found 0.73 good for acoustic and electric guitar. Maybe sharp version is not perfect for strumming, but it is great for picking. But it is just my personal preference. Only downside, it easily hides on wood floor :)
