I don’t like to do reviews, and so I only do them if something is especially good or bad. Having said that, I am so impressed with this item that if I could, I would give it 10 stars! I purchased 4 of these to be used for PLC program development. I found their engineering and build quality to be consistent and absolutely phenomenal! Anyone who has worked with belt conveyors knows that belt tracking can be an issue. The belts a on all four units were well constructed and tracked without any issues at all - and the conveyors have tracking adjustments built into them like the big ones do! And they were all set just right! I could go on and on, but like I said - I don’t like to do reviews. Suffice it to say that I found everything about them to be first rate - from engineering to build quality to protective shipping packaging! (And this is not a paid endorsement - my integrity is not for sale)

Overall surprised us was expecting worse quality would have returned if it could not be used for our project. The build is simple 80x20 aluminum extrusion very easy to add onto. We replaced the motor for a stepper with a custom plate. It's working great for prototyping a conveyor for SMD chips to be inspected under sensors and cameras. Great work Moonshan. Will buy more if I need to setup any conveyor or would be great for students learning automation.

Do not buy this it is terrible quality, and the instructions are not in English and cannot be changed to English and tech-support does not help.

I develop software for industrial conveyors that are much larger; but this compact desktop unit works in the same way so I can use it to test functionality. A great development aid.

This conveyor belt is the same kind that you see in factories around the world. It includes everything needed to power and mount it, but beyond that you need to design your assembly line, feeder mechanism, etc. to work with it. It is also fairly small. I am using it for a project that involves passing items under a camera, which means that I am not using the included power supply but instead driving the DC motor via a motor driver. It works extremely well regardless, and I would highly recommend it if you need a nice conveyor! My one gripe is that I could not find the CAD files for it anywhere. If you are building a professional system, a CAD model is absolutely essential to have on hand.
