Super happy.
This bunkie board is indeed heavy duty i weigh 500 pounds and was afraid of snapping the boards. But its holding a king mattress and me & they are holding my weight perfectly. The reason why i purchased this product is because the metal slats on my platform bed was spaced to far apart and leaving deep indentions on my brand new king size mattress. So i brought this put it the opposite direction of the slats and now my mattredd doesnt mold down or indent into the open space anymore. Plus the package was really heavy letting me know this was some quality wood.

Much Needed Slats Aided Aching Back
When the bed was ordered, it came without the slats although they were supposed to. It was the last June and stores were not yet open again and Covid-19 protocols for in-person shopping not yet in place. It would have been a monumental task going back to Ikea for the slats. So for months, I slept without slats until my morning back pains said, "No more."Now. I'm sleeping extremely well with no more morning back pain.

You the judge.
Received the item as per today. Delivered on time.About quality:1 ) the product is easy to assemble, it comes in a roll.2) the slats aren't t sturdy as described . I believe they are 1x1against 2x2 from ikea..3) the slats are irregular. It means that some are as per description others are not. Because of this inconvenient I reached a lumberyard and cost me additional 14 dollars.4) despite the adjustment, some of the slats kept popping out from the rails. Therefore, you judge by yourself. According to my experience I would not recommend this product.

Use your foot to pound the wood into place
At first, the wood was slightly too wide for our standard metal king frame; we couldn't fit the wood into place as one side hung over the edge of the metal frame vs fitting inside the frame. I placed the wood slightly sideways and then tried sliding it into place so it sat straight. Ended up using my foot as a hammer & just stepped on the wood near the edge of the frame to get it down onto the track of the metal frame, then the rest of the wood followed. One we knew the wood fit, it was fairly easy to situate. One plank was very bowed and did not sit straight, but curved upwards at each end. I was worried that would affect the performance of the bunky board, but to date it is not an issue. Since the wood planks were a tight fit at first, we are hoping there will be zero issues where the bunky board "comes off the metal frame" [which some reviewers said happened to them]. Overall the packaging and design made the installation pretty easy with 2 people.

Not **QUITE** wide enough for my bed, otherwise fine
The boards were just barely wide enough that, with extreme care, they could be precariously placed so a couple of millimeters rested on each rail. I went to the lumber store bought some 1x1 square dowels for a few bucks and screwed them to each rail to extend it by an inch and the boards then worked. Not sure if my frame is wider than the average full bed frame or if the boards were just not wide enough. Worked well enough once I modded the frame, but if you aren't prepared to mod the frame you might want to consider something else.

Pretty easy to put on bed
It worked precisely for what I needed it for. Had very little issues putting it on my daughters bed. The only annoyance is that unless you have 2 people on each side placing it on the bed, the planks wiggle out of place till you're able to adjust it properly. Over all quite satisfied.

SLATS
I ordered these for a project I was working on for the USO. I had to take ofgf the straps that held them together The slats worked perfectly for the project. The biggest problem I had, was the fact that they were packaged so well it wore me out getting them out.

I got the best thing foe my bed Durable
Yes it is thick and made in a single wood for queen size bed which makes it fit in the bed without movement. The one I had before came with the bed was not of a good quality. This is thick and definitely good as value of money.
