Very high quality drawing pad!
I tend to do a lot of "napkin sketches" of things I'm designing which means I grab loose paper and jot down my ideas and while that works sometimes I misplace the paper and I spend as much time looking for the design idea as I did coming up with the idea. This pad is great, the paper has a really nice feel and weight to it. The paper is perforated so you can remove the pages as you see fit though I wouldn't do that because the combined pages have enough structural integrity that you don't need a backer board of any kind to sketch while holding the pad. Keep in mind this is LARGER than standard A4 paper so make sure it will fit in whatever bag you transport it around in.I do all of my sketching in pencil and the paper contrasts the graphite nicely and my gum eraser doesn't chew up the paper I imagine colored pencils would work just as well I might have to go digging around to find my old prismacolors and see how this holds up at some point.Bottom line this is a solid choice for a drawing pad if you are in the market for one.

Perfect sketchbook for charcoal drawings
I recently picked up sketching with charcoal, where a larger pad is better. In my photo I laid it on top of a 5.5x8.5 pad to compare size. The paper has the perfect texture for applying the charcoal and then erasing to brighten up areas. The micro perforations leave a smooth and straight line for a sheet that has exactly 9x12 inches. That is why the pad is 13.5 inches in length.

Great for Drawing with Dry Media
I used a fountain ink pen to draw and color the black to test the "bleed through" of a wet media. I then used colored pencils for the rest. This is for use with dry tools, and for that purpose it does well. The paper is thicker but still meant for dry tools. There sheets are perforated should one want to take one out. The cover and back are thick and the spine feels secure. This is a a nice sketch book.

True to size
This sketch book is true to the advertised size with the usable area being 9x12 inches. Often no name brands include the spiral binding in their size measurements, but this is actually 12 inches to the perforation.Page thickness is decent, good for sketching using dry mediums. I would not use wet mediums or markers. the paper is soft and won't hold up the best to heavy work (like blending/erasing). Front and back covers are thick which provide support if not at a desk/table.Price is high at what I was taxed at.

Good sketchbook but more medium than heavy weight
I really like that I can use oriented to landscape vs portrait. The notebook itself is heavy but the pages are more medium than heavy gauge. Still, the paper is suitable for a variety of media. It's bigger than a standard spiral bound notebook so may not fit as well into duffels, backpacks, etc.

Excellent
Perfect sketch pad. Hardcover is beautiful to look at, and provides enough sturdy material to use as a hard top for sketching. Paper is well-made and takes heavy markers well. Pencils and ink work well with no splatter or bleeding. I will be buying more of these!

Sturdy and Versatile Sketchbook for All Levels of Artists
My artist daughter absolutely loves this Ddaowanx sketchbook! The 9" x 12" size is perfect for her larger sketches, and the spiral binding makes it easy to flip through pages or remove a sheet when she wants to frame her work. With 100 sheets of 68lb (100gsm) acid-free paper, it handles pencils, charcoal, and light ink beautifully without bleed-through. She also appreciates the smooth texture, which works well for both sketching and light painting. A great gift for kids, beginners, or any budding artist!

Good sketchbook
Big nice area to draw on. The paper is thick enough to sketch with pen or pencil. It is not thick enough for any painting, just FYI.The paper looks good quality. The 100 page count will last me a good while until I need a new one.I also think it is a good price.
