Ao Haru Ride, Vol. 2: Volume 2 : Sakisaka, Io: desertcart.co.uk: PC & Video Games Review: A continuation of book 1 - Futaba and Kou continue from book 1 exactly where they left off, so best read book one first, if you want to understand what is happening. Futaba is trying to reconcile her thoughts and feelings towards Kou. They vary between liking and annoyed verging on hate. Kou tries to push Futaba away with his comments but Futaba can be persistent and wants to know Kou's past without her so she can understand his current character. Kou insists he is a completely different person to who he was before, Futaba now understands but wants to know why. With encouragement from Kou's brother, Futaba becomes class representative. In asking for a male class representative, Futaba finds Kou volunteering. He didn't know what he let himself in for when both reps along with the event representatives, Yuri, Shuko, and Aya, were to attend an overnight workshop with other class and event reps from the school. Things don't start of well and go downhill from there. Both Kou and Futaba get further apart then closer, leaving themselves in a limbo. It was fun and the drawings are beautiful. The characters are developing well and the story is progressing well too. There are fun moments and thoughtful ones too. The writer adds some interesting information about Futaba and Kou in a run down at the end. The author's comments on the side were fun too. I can't wait for the next instalment although I know I will have to wait but it makes you feel invested in the characters and a need to see what happens next. Well worth a look. Review: Very cute series - I love this writers mangas so much , there’s always that good pure romance and not that unnecessary love triangles that don’t make sense. Every character has a good built back story and overall good story. I love this so much ! About to buy volume 3 and 4.

My usually non reading teen approves
My 14 year old daughter does not usually read. Well, she has no issues reading her phone, but when it comes to books - never! So I was surprised when she asked me for two new books. I was a little dubious. But whatever is contained in these books must be pretty good, as she read both of them from start to finish! Being a teen, she wouldn't share too much about the contents. Just gave a teenage grunt that was her way of expressing her enjoyment of reading them! So if these magical books can make my teen read them, I'm guessing they would be worth buying. They are now taking pride of place on her shelf of special items.
