Direct replacement for the Walbro WT-45 on an old Stihl FS string trimmer (marked an FS-56 (not RC or RCE), but looks more like an FS-52….either way the carb I replaced is a ‘real’ WT-45). Only complaint is that the throttle return spring isn’t as strong as the Walbro and it’s a little slow to return to idle (no doubt largely due to the old, slightly sticky throttle cable—I won’t blame the carb). Adjusted the H and L screws to between where they were on the carb when it arrived and where the original Walbro manual says to have them. It started well enough to tune a bit more. This whole carb was cheaper than the rebuild for the old Walbro. Very happy with the results.

Getting my item back on the road

1 tool is all it takes. A T-27 bit.I installed the carb, gas line & filter from the kit.Squirted a little gas in the intake, and it ran.A little tuning the carb and you're done.

Choke lever won’t stay on

I had a decades old Stihl FS52 string trimmer that died. The dealer quoted $110 for an OEM carburetor ("I don't deal in salvage"), so I figured that $17 was a safe enough bet; carburetors have pretty much been settled science since they stopped using soup cans to make them.The Harbot carb looks just like OEM, and it included some sundry items like fuel filters, fuel line, and gas tank grommets.The installation was simple enough, although there is a brief lag between idle and full throttle that I haven't been able to tune out with H and L alone. Maybe the metering lever needs a minor adjustment, but for the money spent I can live with it.

Still having some issues I was told that I may have to have it adjusted anyway.
