Corpower Trigger Thumb Brace and Spica Splint

This brace provides a range of motion, and while firm where required, is flexible enough so most hand functions are not impacted. The material is soft and the velcro strap makes it easy to put on and take off. Pretty comfortable, but it was tight on my thumb and made a sore in the crease between thumb and finger. I was able to make an adjustment (trimmed offending area) and am satisfied overall. A good product for the price with a one star ding for a little discomfort.

My artritic thumb gives me hell at night, but this little brace helps so much. I'd buy it again at twice the price (but don't get any ideas, manufacturer ;)In fact, I am back to buy it again--this time for the other thumb. The brace fits right or left, but I'm going to need to wear one on each aching hand at the same time. If you have RA you might be familiar with that unmistakable nighttime thumb/wrist ache; if you are, I say go ahead and give this thing a try; it has reduced my nighttime pain considerably and I find I'm able to drift off to sleep faster.

I like this brace. I ended up removing the velcro and sewing the thumb section closed because the velcro was annoying due to snaging on things often. The velcro snagging was why I reduced it one star. Otherwise, a nice brace which is very comfortable. It has some support with a little range of motion left.

This brace is excellent for me. It is a soft neoprene with a wrist wrap of Velcro. No painful buckle on the top of the wrist, used by several braces to secure the wrist. The thumb is long and can be adjusted tightly. The “spine” is removable and sits perfectly along my thumb. Both joints are supported yet i still have the ability to clasp with my hand.

Really keeps my thumb from moving! I have trigger thumb and if my thumb moves it locks up and really hurts. This brace is great! Also, super easy to remove if I am doing dishes or need to work in the yard and don’t want it wet or dirty. Feel like I am giving it time to heal.

Works well, but it sure does make my wrist sweat! My office is freezing, but still had a sweaty wrist. Tried to use a tissue as a barrier and it got damp and fell apart. Had to hand wash the brace. I have a larger, bulkier style the I wore for days and it didn't make my wrist sweat once.

Soft comfortable yet restricts the thumb from bending. Definitely easier to wear than first one I purchased to replace the bulky one given at urgent care. Others may have an additional stay to further restrict movement but if point is to actually wear the splint 24/7 this one works for me. Thumb doesn't bend yet fingers are free.

After the first day I could not believe how much less pain I had in my thumb joint. I still have some trigger thumb issues but that is much less painful. I am very pleased!! I was at the point where I was going to seek medical treatment but do not need to at this point.
