Make sure you select/order the "pro" or the "upgraded" version, as they are far superior to the regular. At least for me, I had the choice of a few styles, but only one of them was the upgraded version. Other than that this is a great planetarium-like projector for a good price. Works great on a white popcorn ceiling with a nice wide field of view and HD images.

I took one star because of the cord placement. It limits movement. Other than that, everything else is awesome. I did buy another one for my girlfriend because she tried to take mines.The different cartridges are amazing, and it has a focus feature.LOL

The galaxy projector is a great way to create a relaxing and immersive atmosphere. The vibrant colors and moving star patterns make any room feel like a planetarium. While the projection isn’t always super sharp, it’s a fun and soothing addition for bedrooms, nurseries, or ambient lighting. My daughters love it

We previously had a Sega Flux projector and decided to get this to get some new slides. Unfortunately the only slides that have the same clarity as the Sega are the moon one and the milky way galaxy on the black discs. The rest are blurry no matter how much you adjust the focus. I believe the majority of the slides are just not high enough resolution or have some kind of defect. For the price though, compared to the sega, this is a deal. The main reason I am giving it 3 stars instead of 5 is because the rotation does not have a "memory" and defaults to rotating every single time you turn it on. My child hates it when the stars rotate because in real life the stars do not rotate so fast, even at the lowest setting.

I may be used to similar LASER projectors, but this one didn't capture my awe as much as I wanted to. I'm a big space geek, so I was really looking forward to the realistic images this came with, but it didn't meet expectations. This works sort of like those old View-Master slides I used to click through as a kid, but the images aren't high enough resolution to project it clearly. It could be the location where I'm setting it up, but the image is so stretched, it's blurry at the most distant locations. I think the brightness is fine, and the quality is pretty good. It's a pretty easy to use for adults, but small kiddos will have trouble changing out the image slides as they are super small. I think some people may like this more than me, but for now, we are going to stick with "color blob nebulae" and LASER beams.
