This is the best-packaged chalk I have ever seen! There is little to no mess, at all.I liked that it was soft and breakable, and that it wasn't hard to mush it to fine powder by hand. It seemed to last a good while, too.

The media could not be loaded. So chalky! Does what chalk does! I use this before getting on the pull up bar in my garage gym—I do find myself having to “chalk up” pretty frequently but it does what it’s supposed to do. I use it without grips, for butterfly pull ups, kipping pull ups, and toes to bar on the pull up rig, as well as snatches, cleans, and shoulder to overhead movements with a barbell if that’s relevant information for anyone. I like how well the blocks stay in tact so I can just hold the block and rub it on my hands instead of it crumbling into a messy powder. With that said, I am also big into bouldering and prefer a chunky chalk for climbing, which this is not. So really it depends on what you use it for, but I think it’s functional for regular gym use! I’d say it’s good value and I’ll get more once I run out but it’s gonna last a long time.

I can't call it the best climbing chalk I've ever used, but it works well enough and boy do you get some mileage out of these chalk blocks. They're a bit tougher to carry around if you don't break them up, but they last quite a while.

I've climbed with dozens of different chalks now and find it hard to tell any difference in performance from one to the next. Endo is normally my reference standard for block chalk but this stuff is nice as well, and pretty cheap. It seems denser than Endo and most other blocks, which is nice for ticking holds on a project, but I do have to work a harder to break it into powder. If you like firm chunks cheap, go for it!

great chalk. works great for the gym keeping your hands dry from sweat for a good grip even in 90+ summer heat in my garage gym. i've used 50 different brand chalk over the last 20+ years and this is one of the better brands. no clumps stays nice and dry and doesn't get muddy on sweaty hands. well packaged, lots of chalk for the money so a great value. don't be tricked by pricey name brands this is good chalk.
