I have been experiencing tension around my neck and shoulder area and bought this to apply heat to relax. Had a corded one before but it kept me tethered to the outlet. This battery powered one allows me freedom to roam around while the weight of the wrap keeps the heat focused on my neck and shoulders. I started taking this to work and I can honestly say that I easily contributed at least 5 sales for Comfytemp.This is the second Comfytemp device that I purchased and both are excellent. That being said, I do have 2 suggestions - first, in addition to heat, I wish it would vibrate to massage also. I have a lower back belt from this brand and it both heats and vibrates. Wish this one does as well. Second suggestion is I wished this uses a USB-C charger instead of what it comes with so I don't have to log the charger with me to work. Again, the other device I have uses USB-C to charge and it so much more convenient not having to carry a device specific charger around.Despite those 2 suggestions, I still give this a big thumbs up.

Yummy! Wish charge lasted longer, but it works very well.

this product works well for the neck and upper back area but does not work for shoulders as there is no heat out to your shoulders.

Doesn't stay on long enough. Too heavy, actually causes more pain than it relieves. And it has it's own specialty charging cord rather than USB-C so it's a pain to charge.

Update: I loved this pad so much when I got it, it helped me get rid of pain in several areas. Unfortunately, once the pain was gone and I went to wash it for just a second time (normally, I would have washed it once per week, but I was in so much pain, I didn't want to go without it for any amount of time), it broke. The plastic corner piece that keeps the cord in place broke off and there was no way to get it back on. I ended up rigging it by putting some duct tape over the area and now I'm still able to use it occasionally for cramps. Unfortunately, since I don't feel comfortable washing it as it, it's just a matter of time before it goes in the trash. :(Original review: I spent a lot of time looking for a heating pad, and got really frustrated that most of the "name brand" ones didn't have great reviews. I was skeptical, but finally decided on this one. I wanted to use it for a while before I left a review. It's now been a little over 2 months since I purchased it, and it's worth every penny!I had a constant pain in my left shoulder, somewhere under the shoulder blade, for weeks. I tried massagers (shiatsu, massage gun), ibuprofen, patches, gels... They would all work for a bit to make the pain bearable, but nothing made it go away. (The massagers, although they felt great at the time, just made the pain worse and caused swelling and skin irritation.)Once I received this heating pad, I had it on 24/7 (yeah, yeah, yeah, I know I'm not supposed to) for about a week, and the pain under my shoulder blade went away completely. Unbelievable! (Even more unbelievable was that the pad didn't get damaged by the constant carrying from daytime space to bed, getting pulled on while I'm sleeping, etc.)I now still use it on my deltoid (which can take weeks, months, years to heal), and when I do, it feels much better. I also use it when I'm cramping, my stomach hurts, my back or neck hurts or need relief, or just when I'm cold. I can wrap it around my arm, put it on my neck, lay on it, etc.This is a fantastic quality heating pad! The added bonuses are that it can be maneuvered around your body and it stays put because it's weighted.The only thing I would change if I could, is to make the back part a little longer so it comes further down my back.(I am in no way related to whoever is selling this pad, nor have I been paid or rewarded for my review - I'm just a fan.)

Bought this item for my significant other. She really loves it! It fits around your shoulders much better than a regular heating pad. The heat produced is equal to standard heating pads also. Battery time is good and lasts the whole treatment. Well worth the money!

Ordered one and had an issue with the charger. Customer service sent another right away. The weight is nice, the fabric is soft and feels like very good quality. Great for wearing around the house and also outdoors under a jacket while shoveling snow.
