Plug and play
This is my first 3D printer and it’s been a great experience so far. Setup was simple, and I was able to start printing quickly without having to mess with a lot of settings. The automatic calibration makes it very beginner friendly, and print quality has been excellent right out of the box. It’s also quiet and compact, which is a nice bonus. It also connects to an app that allows you to print from phone or computer with access to hundreds of prints for almost anything you can imagine! If you’re new to 3D printing and want something that just works, this is a great first printer.

Crazy steal on sale
This thing is amazing. I put off 3D printing for a while now not wanted to be bothered with the complication. This printer has apparently found a way around much of it and does everything for you. Maybe problems will arise many prints later but so far I printed 4 small things with the sample PLA and I'm surprised at the quality. I designed a couple basic objects and the software just automatically makes use of sensible fill space etc. I don't even have wifi right now so currently I'm just downloading print files to the SD card. It's real easy to set up and gives you an intuitive little guide for each process on the screen. It will initially take a little while to do calibrations but after that the basic prints are very fast. The motors can really move the print head and bed so I'd recommend making sure it has a nice dedicated place for it that isn't flimsy or wobbly. The build is pretty sturdy and the base is decently weighted. The basic process for me was exactly as follows: Unbox Assemble (just a few pieces, very easy) Let it calibrate (took like 20-30 minutes) Download Bambu Studio on PC Import a model into Bambu Studio and 'Slice Plate' (make file readable to printer) And either print from there over Wifi or just export it to a .3mf plate sliced file onto SD card I have no idea what I'm doing and just did that and it was printing no problems. I got on Tinkercad and just made random objects. Then I designed a small mount for something. The basic PLA seems sturdy enough to design all sorts of simple objects with 0 hassle cause you don't really need to play around with the advanced settings of the print. So far I'm just making cylinders and cubes and stretching/contorting their dimensions into a particular shape.. then just exporting them into a file I can open with Bambu Studio. Then slice and print.. The only downsides I can think of are that the plate size may leave more to be desired, and the camera has a very low frame rate (mainly just because it can manually do a timelapse for you). These are easily justified in the cost at under $300. Since there is already so much cool stuff out there to print that other people have designed, you can basically just buy a bunch of filament for this thing and go ham. I printed through the included sample filament they provided in about an hour, but a straight print would have probably ran through that in only 30 minutes. For about 20 bucks for 2.2lbs of basic PLA.. that's a whole lot of printing right there. Even if you just used a 1/4 pound of that to make a decently sturdy project enclosure you're getting pretty savey on the gravy over time.

extremely easy to use. no fuss. Just print.
easy to use, easy to setup, printing in 30min with assy and calibration. "Bambu Handy" app is super easy. Print from app. It's extremely cheap, and side by side with my P1S w/ AMS2 Pro it prints nearly as good! The footprint is tiny so it sits on my tiny desk printing away. It's whisper quiet compared to my P1S. I am probably going to get another one at that really low price...or a A1 with AMS Lite... I love these machines.

The greatest printer of all time handes down (PLS BAMBU LAB GIVE ME A FREE sprinter i got the mini
BAMBU LAB PLS GIVE ME A FREE PRINTER THE BIG ONE I BOUGHT THE MINI PLS The Bambu Lab A1 Mini is an absolute masterclass in engineering that has completely redefined the landscape of desktop 3D printing in 2026, delivering a truly seamless, "plug-and-play" experience that was previously thought impossible at this price point. From the moment you open the box, the attention to detail is staggering; the machine arrives nearly fully assembled, allowing even a complete novice to go from unboxing to their first high-quality print in under twenty minutes. What truly sets this machine apart is its sophisticated suite of automated features, specifically the full-auto calibration system that meticulously handles Z-offset, bed leveling, vibration resonance, and even active motor noise cancellation without any manual intervention from the user. This level of automation ensures that the dreaded "first layer struggle" is a thing of the past, as the A1 Mini consistently produces flawless results with a success rate that puts much more expensive industrial machines to shame. Despite its compact 180mm cube build volume, this "mini" powerhouse is remarkably fast, utilizing an advanced motion control system that allows it to maintain incredible precision even at high speeds, turning out a perfect "Benchy" in a fraction of the time required by older Cartesian printers. The integration with the Bambu Lab ecosystem is the icing on the cake; the Bambu Handy app and the MakerWorld platform allow you to browse thousands of models and start a print with a single tap from your smartphone, providing a modern, connected workflow that feels years ahead of the competition. When paired with the AMS Lite, the A1 Mini becomes a multicolor marvel, handling filament swaps with surgical precision and allowing for creative expressions that were once reserved for high-end professional setups. The machine is also whisper-quiet, making it the perfect companion for an office desk or a small apartment where space and noise are primary concerns. The build quality feels premium, the user interface on the touchscreen is snappy and intuitive, and the quick-swap nozzle system makes maintenance or switching between detail and speed an absolute breeze. In an industry often plagued by constant troubleshooting and hardware tinkering, the A1 Mini stands out as a reliable tool that just works, allowing the user to focus entirely on the joy of creation rather than the mechanics of the machine. It is rare to find a product that so perfectly balances affordability, high-end technology, and user-friendliness, but Bambu Lab has achieved exactly that, making the A1 Mini the undisputed champion for hobbyists, educators, and professionals alike who demand excellence in a compact package. If you are looking for the most friction-less entry into the world of 3D printing or simply want a reliable workhorse to add to your farm, this is, without question, the best investment you can make this year—a resounding five-star achievement in every possible metric.

WOW! This printer is AMAZING!!!
I can not say enough good things about this printer. My son received it for Christmas and has enjoyed playing with it and learning all types of ways to create something out of nothing! It is fast and easy to use. He is 12 and can do the set up, add the ideas he wants to create, and is easy to use. Definitely 5 stars for ease of use, fun and amazing quality of items that he has made. It is very durable and not to big so he can put it in his room. I am very impressed!! I was not expecting it to be this good of a 3d printer for the money you spend. AMAZING!!

Incredible value, kid friendly
I run Prusa and Creality products but went with the A1 mini for my 10 year-old's first printer. The Bambu Handy app is running on his Fire tablet and he's been printing up a storm! The print quality and ease of use are surprisingly good at this price point. The app has access to Bambu's model library and there are a ton of models already sliced. This means my son can print away without ever loading a slicer. Amazing for a beginner learning the ropes of 3D printing!

A Great Printer For Those With Limited Space
- The Printer is small but may take extra space than anticipated because the print bed moves back and forth so keep that in mind if you're really tight on space. - Assembly is really easy and takes about 30 minutes if you take your time. - Setup is even easier however the mobile app has some issues with scanning barcodes and may freeze if your PC is also running Bambu Studio. Connecting to your wifi is quick and easily done through the built in touch screen. - The included bed has great adhesion and is automatically leveled during the calibration during the setup process. - Swapping out parts is really easy and guides (Comprehensive or Quick) are available on the Bambu Labs website or Youtube. - In the image you can see a test model "Benchy" and a printer for reference to its size.

Great for beginners!
I bought this as a present for my partner and it works great. It was very easy to set up and he started printing gadgets within half an hour of receiving it. This is our first 3D printer and it is easy to figure out. Being able to see the print as it's going is useful for checking in, and he is even able to send a print from his office (after I clear off the plate for him of course).
