Great Quality
I've had these pants for about two years now, and as an electrician working in a school, I do a lot of crawling in crawlspaces and climbing into attics. These pants are incredibly durable. I recently noticed a bit of fading in the color after a few washes, especially around the knees, but they still feel great. I really like the double-knee design with rivets, and the Carhartt kneepads I added fit perfectly and are super comfortable. One thing I wish these pants had is deeper pockets, as my phone sometimes falls out when I'm crawling. Overall, they last really well, with just a little fading on the knees.

Great work pants
Great heavy duty work pants, fit is good and quality is terrific. I had return only because I ordered the wrong color and they don't have the one I need, navy. Highly recommend, will buy if they get a dark blue.

Work pants
My son loves them because the quality is sturdy, will outlast most things and color does not fade with washes. Fits him perfectly. Nice metallic accents.

A little baggier and longer than expected, but love them after modifications
The waist was so tight that I thought I'd have to send them back. I am 99% of the time a 34 waist, and these hurt at first to button. They have broken in though and now are even a little loose. The legs were far wider than I thought or what they appeared in the picture. Maybe it's just because I'm shorter with a wider waist than some. But I had to take them in, then take them in *again* just so they wouldn't look like clown pants. They are still plenty loose in the legs (I wasn't going for a skinny look or any, just didn't want to look like I was wearing JNCOs).I also don't know why so many brands only go down to a 30" inseam, and even then, seem much longer. I'm 5'8”/5'9" (somewhere in between). So, pretty average height for an American man (according to google) with non-stubby legs. And I had to roll these things up like 3-4 times to keep them from bunching up. I wound up taking them up with a sewing machine as well.I guess a lot of men who want this particular style may not mind how super baggy and bunched up these things look out of the box. So I didn't want to crap on them, just because they weren't to my taste (hence the 4 star review). I love how rugged they are and how they look, after some modifications. I actually have worn them every day since. I just wish pants manufacturers would take into account that not everyone is 6' tall nor wants 5" extra length, bunching up, and maybe produced some shorter length pants for average folks. But honestly, besides all of that they are now my favorite daily drivers.

These seem to be true to size in the waist, contrary to what others have been saying
Don't listen to the naysayers, these run true to size. Not unlike the B11 models, of which I own a pair in moss, these actually run true to size. And I suspect that's the case with most of their outsourced pants. I own a pair of the b01s for reference, the USA made "firm" variant of the double knees, and while they're great, they actually run small in the waist. Because of this unique trait, you actually have to buy them in your natural waist size, for me this was 2 sizes up from my regular pant size (32 waist --> 34 waist). However, with this model, I ordered them in black in a 33 just to be safe, and to my surprise, they actually fit looser than the b01s I ordered in a size 34. So, based on my experience, you should order these in your regular pant size, if I had ordered these in a size 32 waist like I do with blue jeans, they would have been perfect, just as my b11 dungaree pants fit (those are a size 32 as well). I have a sneaking suspicion that the foreign manufacturers do a better job at matching vanity sizing than the U.S. sizing does. KEEP THIS IN MIND: if you are a thinner guy (I'm 5'11" 150 lbs) and you're thinking about sizing up from your blue jean size because you've heard about these running small in the waist like the b01s, don't do it. These mirror traditional vanity sizing. The mexican made ones tend to be very true to size (which is good!). Quality is outstanding, they drape a bit better and they're not as boxy, these are gonna do well for general yard work that doesn't require heavier than hell, tough as nails work pants like the b01s. They're super loose in both the legs and the waist (partially my fault) but they're also a loose fit cut, so keep that in mind.. I'm gonna intentionally shrink them in the wash to get them to fit better in the waist and seat, but right now, with a belt they fit fine, just a bit loose, haven't noticed any difference in length between these and my other pairs of carhartt pants either, maybe go a size down in length if you don't want them to flare out over top of your shoes or your boots. Go true to size in the waist, you won't regret it.

Holds up
Holds up better than the blue ones. They'd don't get holes in them hardly at all. The blue one get holes with in a few months. My hubby's an mechanic

Initial review
This may change as I wear these more but these are great pants, they fit me well as a man who is a bit on the curvier side while also having a great range of movement, overall just a great pair of pants and I am definitely going to consider getting them in different colors.

perfect
As a worker, laborer and hard working person I own work clothing, dickies, wrangler, ben davis and cornerstone, however out of all the work clothing brands carhartt has always had the most comfortable, high quality and great workwear the industry has to offer, these pants are in carhartts line of loose fit pants meaning they sit above the waist not at the waist, as i spend most of my time sitting down on my knees or simply in some other position the above waist fit saves me so much discomfort and hides a bit of that muffin top aswell. These pants are comfortable, affordable and great quality, I have 5 total pairs and they will be the only work pant I ever purchase again, one downside to these pants however is that they fade to brown however this can easily be fixed with fabric spray paint or fabric dye.
