Make sure you update the firmware before using
I'm not too happy with Brook releasing this after I purchased the Wingman FGC since it makes the Wingman FGC obsolete but I'm happy that I can use my custom dual analog controller on my PS5. As the title states, make sure to update the firmware before you use this. You will need a computer with an internet connection (preferably a Windows PC). You do so by holding down both LED buttons on the side of the dongle while plugging it into the controller. Then, download the firmware updater and make sure the firmware number is newer than the existing firmware. Once updated, the converter works perfectly with all PS5 games. I played Stellar Blade for a few minutes and quickly realized that I need more time to get acclimated to my controller.

This is a game changer for PS5 owners
This adapter is incredible. If you own a PS5 and have multiple controllers you would like to use for it, then this is a must have. Not many third party ,controller options are available for Playstation 5, and this changes that!I use this in tandem with my GameSir G7 HE controller, and it feels so much better to play with than with the standard DualSense. I mapped the touchpad to the back button in the Brook PC software, and I was all set. Can’t recommend this product enough.

A must for third party controllers on the PS5
The perfect converter if you want to use a third party controller on your ps5. This thing has no lag or disconnection issues compared to besavior converter. I'm so glad that they included being able to remap the touchpad to the select button. The only downside to this converter is that using a wireless connection does not work.

It works with a caveat
It does workIt allows 3rd party controller to function as a dual-sense controller. But it seems to only work on 1 single port on the console.Even with a USB adapter(only ran a minimal check✅), it only works on the 2nd USB port (from the right). It works as advertised, but if this setup is an issue you may wanna stick with what's working or l, still elsewhere.I'ma keep it and see if other controller with work properly on the PS5 with it.But FYI, IT ONLY WORKS WITH THE ONE USB PORT!!At least what I've found so far. Thanks for reading this farHope this helps.

Finally!
Where to begin? This product I thought would never make it to us. I have been a huge fan of Brook gaming products ever since I discovered their product when I was playing on the PS4 and wanted to use my Elite V1 Xbox controller for the paddles and elevate my gaming. I got their adapter back then that worked flawlessly and thought I would never look back. When the PS5 released, that adapter worked on the console... recognizing the controller as a PS4 controller. Which meant that it wouldn't work when playing any PS5 game. Finally, that issue is no more. This adapter recognizes virtually any controller plugged into it as a DualSense controller. The only gripe and the reason for the 4* is because it advertises on their website that it works simply by plugging it into the USB port on the front of the console. Well, obviously that didn't think about the very first generation of PS5 consoles (I have had mine since launch day 2020.) It will NOT work on the front USB port of your console if you have owned it since launch day. I nearly tore my hair out trying to understand why it wouldn't work when another fellow reviewer here mentioned in his review that it would only work on one of the USB ports in the back of the unit. In desperation, I plugged it into the back and voila! It works! I'm a little frustrated but I can let that go. I finally have access to the Elite V2 controller in all of its glory on my PS5. Excellent!

Great adapter that works for the Vader 4 Pro on PS5
This adapter is great, and works with the Flydigi Vader 4 Pro in both wired and wireless mode on PS5. There is some trouble with the first wireless connection each time the console is booted up, but switching the controller input mode to something else, then back to dongle solves the issue. These were all known issues to me at the time of purchase, but I had to dock a star due to the loose fitment of the adapter. The male USB side of the adapter sits very loosely in the ports of the PS5, and the adapter has lots of wiggle room which worries me some about longevity of use.
